There are few Christian beliefs more controversial today than Jesus’s claim to be the exclusive way to life, hope, and joy. But this is what we celebrate and proclaim—because it is true, and it is loving.

Is there something after this life? It is a question everyone asks. And how you answer matters now and for eternity.

Jesus does not simply make suggestions or give advice. He claims to be in charge. In response, he calls us to submit to his religious authority, recognize his political authority, and trust his sacrificial authority.

Jesus arrives on the scene and makes a clear claim of rightful rule in our lives. But he’s a different King than many people expect. And our response to his claims are eternally significant.
