The Bible (specifically in Paul’s writings) uses the image of a “body” to teach us that the church has a head (Jesus) who enables each member through his/her union with Him to fulfill its purpose in coordinated harmony and joy.

David Keddie is a member of Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Lawrenceville, NJ. As the message of Jesus spreads, it changes people and communities.
