Cambria Pulpit

Jesus is the point of all things. He is the ruler and the fulfillment. In this text, we see that Jesus' supremacy is the point of the book and our lives.

Where is your faith? In Hebrews 7:11-28, we learn that a relationship with God comes through the perfection of Jesus, not our good works. In Christ, we have a Better Priest and a Better Covenant.

Do you try to earn God's favor through good works? Hebrews 7:11-28 teaches us that a relationship with God comes through the perfection of Jesus, not our actions. We have a Better Priest and a Better Covenant. Listen to the sermon here:

Do you wish you could go back to the good old days? Many people think that if things could go back to the way they were, life would be better. But we should look forward to the future when Christ returns and brings true peace and righteousness.

Do you ever have days where it feels like things can't get any worse? In the worst moments of life, God has not forgotten you. He made a promise to you, and He will keep it. So you can anchor your life to Christ.

How do we handle people who fall away from the faith? How can we guard our own hearts from apostasy? Hebrews 6:4-8 warns us of this danger and encourages us to remain faithful.

Are you growing as a Christian? Too many Christians fail to mature and thrive in their relationship with God. They remain spiritual infants. But Hebrews 5:11-6:3 tells us it's time to grow up.

Who represents us to God? How can imperfect sinners go before God's throne? In Hebrews 5, we see that Jesus is our perfect High Priest. Christ provides us with confident access to God.

How can we live out our salvation when we fail so often? Sometimes following Christ and keeping the faith seems impossible. The good news is, we have a High Priest who is like us. So we can draw near to God through Christ.

Maps help us stay on track and reach our destination. So what map can lead us to the eternal rest of heaven? In Hebrews 4:11-13, we're instructed to strive for the eternal rest by trusting the power of God's Word. The Bible is the map that leads to glory.
