Camp Cast

Hey GreenNation! We are back with a full detailed recap of our competition with Camp Kawaga. Unfortunately Menominee did not come out on top, losing 38-35. To recap the entire thing we bring on some of our best counselors and coaches Charlie Eisenberg, Daniel Shamah, and (later in the episode ) Chase Kaplan. At the end we also give a Green & White update, talk about the sing, and some other nonsense. Enjoy.

We are through 30 events in our competition with Camp Kawaga and the score is CM-15, CK-15. This is going to be a close one folks. Today we have three camp veterans from cabin 13 on the podcast to talk about all the action from an intense first day of competition. Hope you enjoy our conversation with Spencer Polovin, Zach Field, and Jake Auslander.

On this VERY special 2 part episode, we start in 2025 and recap the first 3 events of our big competition with Camp Kawaga, 11U, 13U, and 16U Tennis! We had three intense tennis meets today and to recap it all we bring on three studs, Carter Parks, Reid Parks, and Max Weiss.

Then in Part 2, we travel ALL the way back to 2018, and revisit a conversation Jason had with CM veteran legends Justin Schoeneman, Taylor Beauseigneur, Jonah Weiss, and Andrew Blechman. This pod was recorded in Season 1 of the Camp Cast, but focuses on the significance of the competition itself. We talked about the all of the life lessons our boys take away from these intense days at camp, how important it is to compete as Team Menominee once each summer, what this event means to the Menominee Family each year, and share some personal competition stories. Hoping new families will enjoy this look at the competition from a different perspective, and returning families will enjoy the nostalgia in listening to some of our favorite guests. Go Menominee...Beat Kawaga!

On this pre-competition podcast I have on Cabin 7 all stars Liam Jaremchuk and Elton Doepke. We talk about the end of the Cross Camp Classic, dig a little more into Green and White, do a small preview of the big competition coming up, and much, much more. Enjoy.

On this episode of the podcast we keep it positive with best friends Abner Nasatir and Beau Coleman. The boys help recap a great day of camp, and give each other a ton of compliments on the way! They also turn the tables on Jason and end up asking him more questions than he asked them. Enjoy.

On this special BONUS episode of the podcast, Jason is joined in studio by Marc, Max, and Nate Beermann. They have decades of camp experience in pretty much all aspects of CM from Camper to program director, and they share all of their insights. We get into alumni favorites (hot takes, camp grudges/regrets, best stories) and have an amazing conversation about camp. Enjoy.

We are back with a vengeance on this episode of the podcast. Tonight we are joined by Cabin 2 (and newly inducted 5-year club members) Josh Schreier, Alec Schwartz, and Jack Friedman! We recap a controversial Vroom, discuss the Cross Camp Classic, look ahead to our color run with Chippewa, and get a little bit of a song night preview. Enjoy.

IT'S GREEN & WHITE!! On this episode of the podcast we are joined by 4 of our 8 Green & White Captains to discuss the reveal, the teams, look ahead to what is coming, and all things Green & White. We also recap Campus Clash and an epic 5-year night at camp. Enjoy!

It's Sunday which means it's time for Ask the Director! This is the weekly live radio show where the Senior Cabin pitch real and very not real ideas given by the campers to help "improve camp". It's a mess, but we love it. Sorry in advance for the audio...this one is not recorded in studio, but live in the front office broadcast over the PA system.

On this lazy day Sunday BONUS episode of the podcast Jason welcomes former camper, and current camp dad, Matt "Chico" Weiss. We record live in the pod studio at camp, as Chico was at the friendly confines to present a 5-year Jacket to one of our campers. We have an amazing conversation about life as a camper, life as a camp dad, and life/camp in general. Enjoy!
