Camp Cast

On this very special episode of the podcast we go late night post-social with Sidney Schwulst, Eli Bulmer, and Josiah Prince! We talk about a great day of camp that ended in a social at Chippewa Ranch Camp! Enjoy.

It's the hottest day of the summer...but that didn't stop us from having an amazing day at camp. Today the podcast is taken over by Cabin 4, as Jason is joined by Graham Wolf, Levi Ettleman, and Stanley Sider. They talk all about our morning clinics, our King of the Camp swim and track meets, give us a Twilight League update, and preview the 2025 Spelling Bee. Enjoy!

On this episode of the podcast we have Cabin 9 camp stalwarts Noah Yashar, Noah Rothbart, and Ronin Feldman. We talk all about a great day at camp including some hilarious nighttime routines in Cabin 9, preview our first traditional skit night of the summer, discuss camp sites for hot dog cookouts, give a robust Twilight League update, and try to get NoRo and Ronin to let Noah Yashar get a word in! Enjoy.

This podcast comes on the heels of an AMAZING song and cheer night at camp...capping off a perfect Northwoods day. The Senior Cabin leads song and cheer night so, naturally, we had three standouts from the evening on to recap it and the entire day at CM. We hope you enjoy listening to this episode with Carter Parks, Anthony Kruswicki, and Sammy Sosnow.

It cannot be a camp season without a Cole Stein/Beau Davidson podcast! Today we bring out the heavy hitters as these 3 year camp veterans come on to talk about all the great things we did at camp today, give some theories on canteen numbers, and much more. Enjoy!

On this very special episode of the camp cast we have intermediate all-stars Bennett Rue and Dayne Schneider, and newly appointed Jr. TLL captain Jake Gangel join us to talk about a day of Menominee Firsts! We started Big Ten instructional activities, we got into our first King of the Camp Games, and we of course started Twilight League! This was such a fun episode, we hope you enjoy.

Welcome to first session 2025!!!! The first actual night of camp is here. We have a packed house at camp and we are so excited the boys are back with us at the friendly confines. We are even more excited to get back to the traditional podcast format where Jason talks to campers every night! As is tradition, he is joined by the CITs on the first night. They recap an awesome first day of camp, preview the summer, shout people out, call Jason out on some things (naturally), and much, much more. Enjoy!

This is a VERY special episode of the Camp Cast because we have a Menominee First!! It's our first ever Father/Son edition of the pod. We have on Father/Son decade club members Harley Rosenthal and Mike Lieberman to talk all things Father/Son Camp, share their stories and thoughts about the program, and look ahead to their boys' upcoming summer at camp.

On this pre-camp episode of the Camp Cast we have legendary Camp alumni Andrew Blechman and Benjie Soren on to talk about Fantasy Camp, their impressions of the 2025 Staff after observing and helping during training week, a look ahead to Father/Son 2025, and a nice discussion about the best pitcher at Menominee that for sure won't rattle any cages...enjoy!

We are back with Season 8 of the Camp Cast! Welcome everyone to the Camp Menominee Camp Cast. On this podcast throughout the year you will hear interviews with campers 5-7 times a week during the summer, and in-depth camp discussions with Alumni, Staff, and everyone passionate enough to sit down with us and talk about camp. We are so excited to be here for another season of camp, and this podcast!

Today on the show we have former Camper, Counselor, Director, and Owner of Camp Menominee, Glenn Klein! We talk about everything from Glenn's first summer as a camper in 1969 to his last as the owner in 1997. For those of you that know Glenn, you know he can tell very detailed and elaborate stories...and he does not disappoint here. We covered as much as we could...but there will surely have to be at least a part 2.

For our regular listeners you may be used Jason hosting these episodes on his own. However, on this episode we wanted to make sure we had someone who has known Glenn since the earlier days of his ownership at Camp, so we asked our Assistant Director Woody to join us.

We hope you enjoy the premier episode of Season 8!
