Camp Cast

We had a crazy action packed few days at camp, so we needed a two part pod to sort it all out! In part one we have junior campers Tucker Kaufman and Tobin Cynoski on to discuss our first Lazy Day Sunday, our first values campfire at The Way, how their first summer at camp has been, and much more!

Then in part two we bring on 14 year old campers and podcast legends Oliver Schwartz and Eli Mutnick. They dive deeper into the Green & White reveal and the Way, discuss our first few Green & White events (including fan favorite Vroom), talk about the golden flag ending to Vroom, go into depth about how the 14 year old age group is bonding, and much more.

Enjoy!

Hi Everybody! On this episode of the podcast, Jason is joined by CITs Chase Kaplan, Max Agins & Tyler Field. They recap an awesome couple days at camp including Jeremy's surprise 20th Year celebration, Mid-Summer Madness, an AMAZING Max Agins trip week story, and we hear the guys do impressions of Jason.

Some of you might be looking for a Part 2 of this podcast that talks about an extremely negative experience we had competing at another camp on Thursday night the 18th. We stand by everything we shared in the original recording. We accurately described how campers felt in the moment and how we were treated there. However, keeping that part of the recording online in perpetuity serves no purpose, and we want to continue, as we do at Menominee, talking positively about our kids and our values rather than focusing our attention outward. We'll have more to say on this on tomorrows podcast.

It's our third live episode of the summer! Tonight, Jeremy Kohlenbrener once again joins Jason to record a live podcast during a fun special event at camp. We hosted the local Rhinelander 15U Hodags baseball team for a friendly game against the boys in Green (actually white tonight). During the broadcast we were joined by a lot of people for play by play, color commentary, a recap of an amazing day at camp, and much, much more.

Guests include: Melanie Rein, Cooper Provus (play by play), Avi Kirshenbaum, Morrison Gold, Chase Kaplan, Eli Flaum, Jackson Flaum, Oliver Schwartz, Ethan Schwartz, Hank Siegel, Hetty Simenacz, Grace Smart, Grace Brownridge, and Chad the Dad.

Enjoy!

Today was about as great of a "normal" day at camp that we can have! To help recap it, we have Matthew Feinberg and Irving Dowling on the pod. We talk about Big Ten, Mid Summer Madness, some Menominee Firsts of the Day, our first Big/Little Brother event, and much more. Enjoy!

Welcome to Session II everybody. We are back with regular episodes of the Camp Cast. Tonight on the podcast we have Cabin 7 standouts Cole Stein and Jonah Lazarus. We talk about our first 2 days of camp, the reveals of Mid Summer Madness and Twilight League, how the food has been, and much, much more. Enjoy!

Session I just FLEW by. We can't believe it is over, and while we still have a lot of camping left to do, we need to spend some time looking back at a great first session of 2024. On this episode of the Camp Cast Jason is joined by counselors and 10 year club members Brady Weiss, Cooper Spector, Jack Kaplan, and Harrison Hoffman to talk all things Session I, dive into their legacies at camp, talk a little stick, and much more. Enjoy.

Oh boy do we have a treat for you on this episode of the camp cast. You will hear for the first time ever on this podcast a King of the Camp Champion getting crowned. We get not one, but two live broadcasts of the 12 and under and 13 and over basketball finals. The first game features Knights vs. Dragons in the 12U final. These teams put their ALL out there and you are not going to want to miss one of the more epic comebacks in the history of the game. If you don't know the names Dylan Gangel and Nick Poster...you will by the end of this episode. Then you get a classic rivalry battle between the 13O Knights, and Phoenix. All the Knights need is one of those two wins to earn their first ever King of the Camp Championship...does it happen??? Find out and enjoy!

On this episode of the Camp Cast we have 3 days of camp to cover, so we made this a 2 parter! We cover town day, our social with Agawak, go deep into our King of the Camp playoffs update, and much more!

Part 1: Nels Johnson, Jack de Luito, Michael Hazan

Part 2: Bennett Rue, Huntley Citron, Dayne Schneider

We had an incredible day at camp today, and so we needed a two part podcast to recap it all. On todays episode, Jason is first joined by one of our favorite guests Jeremy Kohlenbrener for the "intro". We dive into our first counselor game of the summer against Camp Kawaga...a counselor volleyball win for Menominee. Then brothers Carter and Reid Parks come on to talk about the rest of our camp day including the conclusion of B&A, our intense camper/counselor tennis tournament, and much more. Enjoy.

We have had a WILD two days at camp, and on today's podcast we have on Cabin 9 superstars Derek Zivin and Nick Poster. We cover one of our favorite KOC all camp games (Relic Recon), the surprise two-camp start to our British & American competition, captains duels, land/water events, and much, more. Enjoy.
