Life can mirror this same feeling we have when we are lost.  Have you ever felt lost when deciding what to do when you have a big decision.  What city to live in, what to do for work, who to marry, how to spend your money, what home to buy/rent, how do I deal with my broken relationships?  These are all big questions and your anxiety can rise when you think of them.  You can feel a sense of hopelessness. 

Jesus says he is the way, the truth and the life.  Let's see how Jesus shares how we can trust him in our struggles and lead us to thrive.  

The truth is that in life there is always a very good possibility of failure. We have to know it’s okay, otherwise our growth will be stunted.

Jesus does the same thing to us as he did to Peter. He reaches down and gives us a hand up and says, “Learn from your mistakes and then teach others.”

Make sure when you fail that you fail forward. Make it a successful failure.

That is discipleship in action. It’s allowing Jesus to change us so we can love others better, so they see Jesus in us and join us on our journey towards the heart of God.

"He (God) is never late. He is never early. He is always on time. He is trustworthy and the number one thing he wants us to learn through the tough stuff of life is to grow our faith muscles so we trust him more and so that others will see Jesus through us."

We get to look at this amazing list of people running through Hebrews 11 and we get to be reminded that God loves to use broken and messy people.

God loves to take people who think they are disqualified or too far gone and then turn them into beautiful examples of faith to inspire future generations.
