Our life on earth is with Jesus,

Our citizenship is in Heaven,

and He wants to so change us ....

that others can see Jesus in us.

Pastor Jeff and Ruthie spoke together this morning. They described their journey of the past ten weeks in dealing with burnout that Pastor Jeff experienced. They spoke of how we all need to re-examine the painful parts of our lives and interpret them in the light of what Jesus has done for us and what He believes about us.

"We are all broken but there is Hope"

"Like Generations before us, we are attracted to this parable because we are attracted to redemption. And humanity is naturally drawn to redemption because of a deep cry from within ourselves. It's the silent cry of our souls desiring to be restored, so they can be reconnected to God" . Derek Bird

Jesus is calling us to live and share our story that we were created for.

"Indescribable. He has too many good deeds to count. Are you in awe of God? In who He is, in what He is doing, or has done?.... .....Jesus is at work all around you. We have but to look and try to describe a fraction of His awesomeness. He might be indescribable but His impact is not" Pastor Adrian Moskal

The only reason to help people know there is a creator is to help them understand they are loved and wanted.  Their shape, their height, their colour, what they have in common with everyone else and what they have in common with everyone else and what is unique to them - those are choices made for them by their creator because that's how He wanted them. In their mother's womb, God was present and He was involved in their development, and they're special and unique to Him. They are wonderful because they are the intentional creation of a wonderful creator. They are of value.   

So God is:

The God of My Daily Life,   

and The God of My Spiritual Life,

and  The Source of the Physical and Spiritual World."

Brian Down led us in a walk through Psalm 100.  He brough out some very important reasons to praise and worship our God.   

    "... We worship. We praise God. Because it puts everything else into perspective for us. We need it.

And so we.....Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep

of his pasture."
