While we may sing the song "Amazing Grace" ... sometimes we don't really get just how amazing God's grace to us is.

So how do I go about loving my church?

What do you think of when you hear the word "church"? The image of the church has certainly been tarnished in recent years. So how should we view the church ... and particularly our church?

Many people carry guilt in their life … but have no idea where to go for forgiveness. Forgiveness comes from the God who rules this world.

The psalm opens with the amazing words that "The Lord is my light and salvation in life." David expresses his confidence in his relationship with God.

David talks in this Psalm about life as it really is … the times in the green grass and the times the times when we have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

Some Bible passages leave you with more questions than answers ... and I think that is true with Psalm 18. How do we understand David's claim of righteousness and clean hands? And how do we understand the violence?

David reflects on his contentment and confidence in his relationship with God ... confident about his life ... and confident about life after this life.

Trusting God doesn't mean that life will be a bed of roses. But it does mean we can face those difficult times with confidence.

It is easy to forget to say thank you. Maybe forgetting to thank the shop keeper, the bus driver, some in your home. Worst of all … we can fail to thank God for all he has done for us.
