Brian Galyon from Off-Grid Backcountry Adventures is the quintessential truck camper, adventurer, fisherman, hiker, and backpacker. He is also one of the best resources for living a nomadic lifestyle as he has lived out of his truck full time for 7-plus years. Along the way, he has learned how to be self-sustaining and along with his Dog Sierra get the most out of a simple life. We are very excited to talk with him and find out what his plans are for the future now that he has a plot of land to homestead in both Colorado and Arizona. No guests this week, however, we are going to talk about our different recent thru-hike trips. Brian will talk about his section hike of the Appalachian Trail and we will both talk about our recent Adventure Hiking Trail Hike. THG first met Phillip while out training for Mt. Elbert. He and his good friend Elton were walking along the trail as THG was sitting on a log gasping for the last bit of oxygen he could inhale and the trio struck up a conversation. Turns out, they were training for the same exact hike! We exchanged contact info and we have been following Phillip ever since. We first met Mark at the last Indiana Outdoor Youtuber Meetup. That does not mean we did not know him before that. Adventure Seeker (aka William Martin) is a channel that we have been watching for years. William is a multi-sport, lover of the outdoors who makes almost full-length documentaries of his adventures. He has hiked the CDT, Kayaked on the Mississippi, Scuba Dived in Florida, and just recently completed a 48-state Fat Bike bike packing adventure. You can tell he loves physical activity and being in the outdoors and that makes us want to have a great discussion with him. We first met Andy online watching his awesome backpacking videos that have to do with the Appalachian Trail and other awesome areas to hike around Georgia. We are very excited to have a discussion with Nick Harrington of the Smokeybeesnatural Channel. One day while we were perusing Youtube, we just happened to come across one of his videos and the storytelling and the cinematography really blew us away.
