Can Myopia Be Slowed Down?

According to recent findings, rates of myopia in children are set to increase by almost 200 million over the next 30 years. 
 
Researchers at Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University are currently running two separate studies in hopes of slowing down the progression of myopia. 
 
We spoke with senior researcher at Queen’s University Belfast, Professor Augusto Azuara-Blanco about the research and what it could mean for future treatments.
