Can We Talk About?

Alien Romulus came out in August 2024, which happened to be at the end of a first-time year-long watching of the entire franchise for one of us. Let's talk about Alien, Aliens, Alien III, Alien: Resurrection, Alien: Prometheus, and Alien: Covenant, and debate what's the best order for a first-time watcher to view them all.

Deadpool 3 aka Deadpool and Wolverine came out, so revisited the Deadpool (there's two) and Wolverine (there's three, I think?), and X-Men (too many to count!), and Loki (two seasons) franchises to prepare. Well, Sagan did! Let's talk about it.

Nothing makes us happier than a chance to revisit one of our all-time favourite 90s movies, Twister! So we watched Twister, then Twisters, then Twister again (then Twisters again). We talk about all our favourite callbacks, moments, and characters, and let you know if you need to watch the OG before you watch the new one.

The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes came out in May 2024, so we watched the Rise of (2011), the Dawn of (2014), and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (2017) to catch up in preparation for the latest in the franchise. We even revisit the 2001 reboot just for kicks! Let's talk about it.

Legendary's Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire came out in April, so we watched Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Godzilla v Kong to catch up in preparation for the latest from the franchise. Let's talk about it.
