Silk Sonic cleaned up at the Grammy Awards, and we are so happy for favorite drummer Anderson .Paak! Of course, no on-screen assaults or injury means no one is talking about the Awards show. 

Speaking of injury, have you heard of Action Park? The nefarious theme park from New Jersey is a former Ski Resort which broke a lot of ground trying to create fun and exciting thrills for the whole family. They really pushed the limits by making the thrills a little too extreme and are known, across the world as "Class Action Park" for all the injuries that occurred on the premise. 

Would you go to say you conquered the Cannonball Loop and survived the Tarzan Swing? I wouldn't.

This week all we could talk about was The Slap.. Will Smith assaulting our 'friend of the show' Chris Rock at this years Oscars. Since we release on Friday we hope you're still talking about it too, it was fresh in our minds when recorded.

We've done it! We survived a pandemic and this week, we solved TikTok. 

We learn what makes a viral song by looking at trends and artists that dominate. Just kidding, I don't think I know any better after looking into the top trends! I know I can play some of them, and there is some good musicality but it's a weird combination of things making music popular these days and you have to look everywhere to see that. 

Not since our love song for Keanu has John played guitar on the podcast - there's a reason for that.

What is with the names of hot sauce? Do they intrigue or intimidate?

We need to be able to differentiate between misinformation and disinformation and how we can protect ourselves from both.

Our favourite is quickly becoming Disney Plus and we'd like to kiss the mouse's ass this episode. Original content is big and we're loving every Marvel title, and maybe 1 out of every 3 Star Wars titles.

What is the definition of spoiler? 

"information about the plot of a book, movie, or television show that spoils the surprise or suspense for a reader or viewer."

In this weeks episode of Can You Confirm That? we ask if the information we call "spoilers" really actually spoil anything? Do knowing which characters will be in a story or which actors will be playing them spoil the story? The term is thrown around a lot these days and we wonder if it's misused.

Not to be a downer or anything, but there seems to be more and more I'm afraid of lately. 

The list goes on and on, here at home in Canada and even on a bigger scale the world is at the brink. Be mindful of what media you're consuming cuz it can be stressful if the story isn't complete. Stories about cannibalism and martial law - well they might turn into regular old murder (phew). I'm not making light of murder, but it's less scary than human meat markets is the point I'm making. 

I think, as scared as I am, this is a fun episode and you should definitely tell a friend or two about it. At least we all learned a thing or two?

It's the 2022 Winter Olympics and it's also, "big game" time! 

The Winter Olympics started in 1924 and it feels like Dre's last album was released that same year, everything is coming together for G and he's pretty excited about what the possibility of Dre returning to the spotlight, in such a high profile place could mean! Just kidding, we're still a show about 'nothing! A protest to end government mandates happening across Canada in the past week since our last recording and we weight in on the good and bad. Can an idea be good, and the wrong people make it bad? Can they twist and dilute or sour the message with their own political beliefs? How do you make sure you're on the right side of the causes you stand behind? 

Geez, these are hard questions to answer...
