Throughout her nursing career Amanda has worked in various nursing specialties, including Med-Surg Telemetry, Palliative Care, Forensic Nursing & Trauma. She holds certifications as an Emergency Nurse & Critical Care Nurse. Her travel nursing career took her to Mayo Clinic Minnesota & Arizona, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and many others. She gives back to the community by volunteering with programs such as Meals on Wheels, Hospice care, Victim Services & The Salvation Army.
While studying for her Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia, she embarked on a mission trip to Kenya, Africa with Kenya Relief, providing medical care for the beautiful Kenyan population. Currently she works in Chicago as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in various hospital & office settings. In her spare time she mentors aspiring CRNA’s.
