Canelo Álvarez and Gennadiy "GGG" Golovkin met once more, and a definitive ending to their third fight means the sport of boxing gained another trilogy for the history books.

A huge Canelo victory appeared imminent before Golovkin fought his way out of it a little, but Canelo remains the undisputed super middleweight champion. And "Bam" Rodríguez earned a win over Israel González to cap off a very, very good year.
