First, great news: Vermont is now the 11th state to legalize, regulate, and tax cannabis sales for adults! Then bestselling guidebook author, travel guru, and TV host Rick Steves joins us to talk about what he’s been doing to support this year’s legalization campaigns.

Some bad news first — medical marijuana is off the ballot in Nebraska. And then some encouraging news — Vermont lawmakers may be nearing a final agreement on legislation that would legalize and regulate cannabis sales for adults. Laura Subin will join us from Vermont to tell us more about this and another bill that will automatically expunge records for past offenses.

Election Day is quickly approaching and voters in several states will soon be casting their votes on cannabis legalization initiatives. For more on this, we are joined by Jared Moffat, MPP's campaigns coordinator, who provides us with a comprehensive overview.
