Canned Air: A Tribute to Pop Culture

Happy Halloween! In this episode, Jeramy and Jack welcome back Emmy Award winning editor, writer, and film maker Bryan Erdy to help us break down the Horror Movie Hall of Fame and Hall of Shame!

The crew dives deep into the archives of horror history. We start by catching up with Brian about his new documentary, We Are Family, which premieres this November at the Phoenix Lennox Theater. We also revisit a classic Canned Air moment by recapping the eerie King's Island ghost story involving a mysterious Polaroid that vanished years ago.

The main event features a comprehensive roundtable discussion where we rank our favorite and least favorite moments in horror. We debate the greatest sequels like Aliens and Psycho 2, while throwing shade at legendary flops like Exorcist 2. The team also analyzes the smartest and dumbest decisions ever made by horror characters, from Nancy's brilliant traps in Nightmare on Elm Street to the frustrating choices made in the Halloween franchise.

Whether you love the ambiguity of The Thing, the psychological intensity of recent hits like Obsession, or the campy fun of the Chucky films, this episode covers every corner of the genre. We even explore the best and worst tropes, including the final girl, creepy children, and the dreaded jump scare cat. Grab your favorite candy and join us for over an hour and a half of cinematic analysis and Halloween fun!

Make sure to let us know your own picks for the horror Hall of Fame and Hall of Shame in the comments below!
