Happy 10th episode! Arsenal have won! Hallelujah! It's been a foreign feeling as of late, but my god, is it good to have it back. We talk lineup, and how the injection of youth shaped this game. But not just youth. Youth & quality! Merry late Christmas. Lets see if the boys can build on this one.
Here we go, here we go, here we go AGAIN. Another day another loss. Excuse the rambling and scattered nature of this one, we're a bit at a loss. Never have Arsenal had such a terrible run of form, but we try and make sense of it nonetheless. Or at least admit that theres no sense to be made. We'll get through this, Arsenal will get through this...I think.
Welcome to a new episode of Cannon Fodder! A new episode where we talk about much of the same from Arsenal, unfortunately. We talk about the heart-ache that is supporting Arsenal at the moment, touch on the Xhaka red-card incident, and wonder where the hell we go from here. Join and mourn with us, it's got to get better at soon! The few listens we get on this pod are all thats keep us going right now, so please listen and leave a 5-star review;)
Boy oh boy. A shorter one, because theres not too much else to say these days. Arsenal lose again, away to Tottenham, in a particularly annoying display. Are the footballing god's torturing us, or are these problems solvable? Is it a bit of both? Listen up for some hot takes, and suffer with us as Arsenal surely have to shake off this poor form soon.
Strap in for this one. Arsenal are in a bad way after losing 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers, and we're here to help you (mainly us) through it. We touch on the actual game, before getting stuck into a few deeper lying issues we sense at the club. Are we struggling on the pitch due to personnel, or is the honeymoon period with Arteta, his rigid tactics, and beautiful lego hair, coming to an end? Give this one a listen as we try and figure that out.
Arsenal drew 0-0 against Leeds, in a disappointing away trip. Unfortunately it was disappointing in all too familiar ways. We discuss that frustration, a few ideas for what Arteta might do to fix it, and how much of a legend Kieran Tierney is fast becoming. Give it a listen, and we'll all try and stay calm amidst a season thats growing in frustration, week by week. Lord knows some Arsenal fans have got to!;) (Apologies for a weird noise in Tim's audio, and for Fred forgetting his damn pop filter)
