Ephesians 3:14-21 - 4:1-6 with Bryan Rouanzoin
On the other side of Easter, we are reminded by the words of Paul that we cannot live out Resurrection Life alone -- we need a covenant community. We explore three visual metaphors that have been used throughout to church history to understand the role of the church: a river, a womb, and a hearth.
This week in Third Space, we reflect on the tension that arises during Holy Week. The tension the disciples and people of Israel felt, and the tension we feel even now. Jesus has come -the Messiah is here- but his way of saving us is often not what we expect.
Hosanna means "God save us." On Palm Sunday we explore the ways we long to be saved but how we often misunderstand the ways God wants to truly save us.
This week, in our Third Space episode, Michelle leads a reflection on what it means to renew our minds. She shares personally about how the Lord has slowly transformed her thought patterns of fear and anxiety and then leads us in a breath prayer to ground us in the reality of who God is.

Romans 12:1-2 with Bryan Rouanzoin
Transformation into a person of love does not happen on our own or by our own effort - but it does require our involvement. Paul teaches us that a major inroad into partnering with God in our transformation is through renewing our minds. Bryan gently reminds us that our wills can't choose what our minds cannot yet imagine.
This week, we reflect on the ways discipleships in our ordinary lives can often come through consent and constraint.
This week Canopy Staff - Bryan, Shayla, and Michelle-- sit down to have a conversation on Bills teaching on Shame, Hiding and the False Self. They reflect on what it means to name emotions, embrace vulnerability, and return to remembering what God has done.
