Maxi's passion for underground house began a few years ago following local artists like Fernando Ferreyra, Hernan Cattaneo, Guhus, and Kevin Di Serna, to name but a few.

HIs main influences are Lee Burridge and his team of All Day I Dream, Guy J, and Rodriguez Jr. Maxi tries to capture a melodic and warm atmosphere in each of his sets.

A mischievous twilight loomed above the rolling hillside, signaling the day's end for some.. For the wicked and the weird - a debaucherous tale had yet to unfold...

Canopy Sounds presents a spooky Halloween extended special from the dynamic duo, Death On The Balcony.

The combined forces of Mark Caramelli & Paul Hargreaves have built up an extensive catalog over the past ten years. Their style fuses a range of influences from Disco, classic Deep House, as well as minimal and deep techno. With such a variety of tunes under their belt, they have a unique ability to concoct unique and enticing vibes to a myriad of settings and atmospheres for dancers all around the globe. DOTB have become known as masters of the art of the remix, as they have been able to apply their delicate and rhythmic touch to all sorts of different genres and artists, most recently to Black Sabbath's, "Planet Caravan" - which was just released as a free download.

Death on the Balcony’s release schedule is continually active with them releasing & remixing internationally with the likes of All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Kindisch, Akbal Music, Connaisseur, Suol, and Pets & Exploited.

The pair have been in the kitchen, cooking up some sonic flavors that should be reaching your ears this coming December, 2018.

George X was born in Greece, on November 6th of 1986. From the earliest years in his life, he showed interest in music as a DJ. After 18 years as a DJ, he decided that it was time for him to work on music as a producer.

His music has been released in various labels, for instance, Nervous Records, Get Weird, Delysid, Magician On Duty, Submarine Vibes, Dream Culture, and others. Chicago's Kevin Hsia has prepared a special mix for Canopy Sounds 23, exploring the depths of house. Expect to here digital and vinyl cuts alike!

Kevin Hsia is an avid record collector and DJ traversing classic and modern jazz/soul/funk to the deep and underground house stylings of Chicago, Detroit, and New York. This classically trained instrumentalist (clarinet/sax) has built up quite a resume here in Chicago with 10 years of experience in the industry. He can be found spinning as the a resident at the beautiful SOHO House Chicago, located in the west loop. Other rotating gigs include Free Rein, Celeste (nightclub), and the Three Dots and a Dash. Tune in to Lumpen Radio( 105.5FM WLPN-LP Chicago) online every third Sunday of the month from 12p - 2p for Sunday Record Club, an all vinyl radio show where Kevin and friends dive deep into music history, eclectic mix sessions and of course, vinyl.

Deep within the mangroves, the lush water lay idle under a calm ocean sky. Drifting, slowly but surely into a sultry haze of zen and imagination...

Born in Ecuador, country in the middle of the world, Jaime became a part of the Ecuadorian movement of producers and DJs in his early 20's, collaborating alongside top national artists like Andre Salmon (Hottraxx, Suara), George Levi (Resident DJ at Lost Beach Club) and Chris C. (Desert Hearts, Inwave).

Jaime has garnered some well deserved attention over the recent years. His first EP "Recon” was released on Anima Somnis, one of the most prestigious labels from his hometown Ecuador, Guayaquil. His dedication to minimal and multi-textured grooves was noticed by Kindisch, who released his track entitled "Drana" (with Chris C.) on their Steps Compilation XIV alongside artists such as Kora, Vincent Cassanova, Modd, and more.

Jaime’s music has been supported by top artists like YokoO, M.A.N.D.Y., Lost Desert, Matt Tolfrey and Primarie to name a few. Mayer has picked up new sounds and rhythms by moving from Ecuador to Puerto Rico, and recently Miami, culminating in a unique medley of minimal, house and techno. Jaime has played at clubs like TRADE (Miami), Do Not Sit on the Furniture (Miami), The Public Works (San Francisco), Monarch (San Francisco) and Club Epic (Puerto Rico).

Music has been his passion since an early age of 8. Some of his local influencers have included Bastard Love and Max Jones. As his taste for underground house music started to develop, he was attracted to progressive and melodic vibes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and Lee Burridge. Tick tock! The swing glided back and forth with the morning breeze. Nestled upon it was a tiny kitty-cat, nestling in for a cozy nap as his nose filled with the aroma of the surrounding flowers...sweet dreams...sweet dreams.

Relaxing in the meadow with us today is none other than Christian Voldstad, and his sidekick, Kitty-Cat.

Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.

Most recently Christian has been playing across Brooklyn and Manhattan and as far away as Black Rock City, Amsterdam, Moscow, Peru and Cape Town. His sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he continues to explore his love of vinyl records, piano melodies and funky basslines.

Viktop hails from Miami and has built a name for himself through his hard work as a resident at Do Not Sit on the Furniture for the last 3 years. His sound incorporates warm, beautiful melodies, groovy bass lines, and more than just a touch of class. Viktop seeks to touch the hearts and minds of dancers with improvisations based on setting and atmosphere. His passion for music has lead him to start creating his own productions, where he is looking to continue to develop his unique sound. His most recent EP "Framsteg" was recently released on Vlosfer Records earlier this summer. Be on the look out for future releases that are sure to be packed with dance floor minded grooves as well as calming, uplifting vibes.

She has been serving as the primary selector at parties such as Space Ibiza, Elrow, Secret Garden Party in the UK, and destinations like Cova Santa, Tulum, and Burning Man. The St. Petersburg based DJ and Producer has been focusing on building a reputation in the last couple of years releasing music on renowned underground labels such as Culprit LA, Selador and Submarine Vibes among others. Having just completed a Latin American tour, she is a rising up-and-comer to keep an eye on as she continues to tour the world. Her performance is reflective of a humble, compassionate soul with a pure passion for music and art, which she uses to connect deeply with her audience in order to create a genuinely interactive and beautiful experience.
