Recorded 3/5/21. A lot to be learned in this ep, like my equipment can only handle 4 microphones, despite having 5 guests. I also lost the last 30 minutes of audio, a refrigeration unit kept turning on, and this was recorded at a busy brewery, so definitely not the best production quality, sorry. Still, it was in interesting talk with the other comics. Follow them on Twitter! Kelly: @kelleyannwelch, Dennis: @dadenman, Eliza: @elizaisntfunny
After a break, we got together to share drug stories, and our silly and ignorant takes on the news including: Lil Nas X's "breasts", Kanye and Kim, Jeffrey Star, COVID, and more! I guess we're not supposed to joke about some of it, but we do anyway.
Hey, it's a lady! Josh's girl, Katie, sits in for Terrence as we talk about Halloween, the end of Sober October, and Josh and Kevin's bromance.
Kevin, Terrence, and Josh recap the last 2 weeks and the "Hit the Deck" open mic from the night before.
Kevin, Josh, and Terrence bring in a hilarious guest, Lucas Dakota, for the show. Lots of funny moments throughout, definitely the best ep yet!
Can you cancel comedy? Time to test the name of the show. A few things were even bleeped out but it will make (some of) you laugh, and it's all just for laughs. Terrence tells his craziest story yet about racism, Josh walks the line, Kevin is hungover and the guys discuss the engineering of Poop Balloons.
Local comic, Terrence Broadnax, joins Kevin and Josh to talk comedy, race issues, and PC culture. Mostly they just talk a lot of S*** and try to make each other laugh. Kevin tells a story about having a racial joke fail in front of a black audience, and Terrence shares a joke fail as well. There's dogs, there's technical difficulties, there's still too many "y'knows", but there's a lot of hilarious moments. Comedians Kevin Hossom and Josh Tafoya take their first attempt at podcasting. It isn't polished, yet, but there were some pretty funny moments. We break down 5 minutes of Kevin's stand-up set from the night before, where he has to take on a heckler. Other than that, they talk a lot of smack and try to get laughs.
