  • #40: Bingo Winners, Spider Attacks, & Traitor Behaviour

The girls are finally back for the Season 4 finale, and there is A LOT to catch up on. Kelsey has been eating her way around Oxford and Cork, winning bingo on her first night, surviving a very stressful few weeks at work and battling a hairdresser who keeps cancelling her appointment. Rebecca has been living her best life in Mallorca, getting dressed up for black-tie events, celebrating Timmy’s birthday, surviving a horror escape room and being traumatised by spiders invading her bathroom. They also get into a magician reading Rebecca’s mind, a packed-out Dublin, and the deeply disrespectful email that officially brought the end of her four-year work contract.

Then, of course, it’s time for the things they can’t cope with, including the return of Celebrity Traitors, Ross Kemp’s spectacular paranoia and the Irish Traitors chat. Finally, they settle into the main topic, everything they love about the “ber months”. Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, The Nightmare Before Christmas, cosy Sundays, blankets, hot chocolates, pumpkin spice and that glorious feeling of life finally becoming a little calmer. Season 4 ends exactly as it should, with the girls looking forward to colder weather, cosying up on the sofa and, naturally, still not coping.

  • #39: Driving Trauma, Harry Potter Nostalgia, and Dolly Parton

The girls are back with two weeks of catching up. Kelsey recounts a horrific ear infection after a night out in Richmond, a very inconvenient encounter with a family of geese, a few days in Oxford and the arrival of a mouse in her London flat. Rebecca has been living her best life at a wedding, getting ready for Mallorca, planning birthdays and black-tie events, and embracing the return of coats, boots and winter fashion. They also get very passionate about River Island, fish tacos, ginger zinger juice, cinnamon rolls, a surprise Harry Potter cinema trip and the joy of rediscovering old games, including the truly horrific graphics of the 2001 Philosopher’s Stone game.

Kelsey pays tribute to Dolly Parton and Tim Curry, reflecting on their deaths, their impact on pop culture and a trip to a honky-tonk in Dolly’s honour. Rebecca, meanwhile, has found her latest obsession, playing Harry Potter on her laptop. Finally, the girls tackle driving, from Rebecca’s disastrous driving tests and panic behind the wheel to Kelsey’s decision to finally get her learner’s permit in England. Public transport lovers, driving-lesson trauma survivors and anyone who has ever completely lost their mind under pressure will feel very seen.

  • #34: Can't Afford Life, Can't Escape AI & Can't Stop Swiping

The girls are back catching up on another week of life. Kelsey is buzzing over the clever Levi's advertising that came from the World Cup controversy (cheers to whoever accidentally gave them free publicity), while Rebecca simply can't cope with the fact that she still has to work for a living. Honestly, why can't she just wake up as a millionaire already?

Then it's time for this week's topic. Has technology completely changed the way we date? The girls dive into the strange world of modern romance, from the horrors of dating apps and endless swiping to people forming genuine relationships with AI chatbots. They chat about whether we've forgotten how to connect in real life, how dating has evolved over the years, and whether technology is bringing us together...or quietly pushing us further apart.

  • #33: Pokémon Weekends, Census Discoveries & Wellness Culture

The girls are back catching up on their weeks. Kelsey survived her first weekend home alone while Rory headed off to Download Festival, spending most of it deep into Pokémon on the Nintendo Switch instead of worrying about every noise in the apartment. She also shares updates from a London barbecue, Rory’s VIP festival experience, and his plans to start a band. Meanwhile, Rebecca recounts a brilliant family day out in Dublin complete with pastries, cocktails at The Westbury, a debate over whether to spend €210 on a Metallica ticket, and the podcast’s first proper hater review. The girls also give a shout-out to their mysterious Russian listener and discuss the latest Brooklyn Beckham family drama. Inspired by the release of the 1926 Irish census records, Rebecca shares the emotional experience of tracing family history, and uncovering incredible stories from generations past.

This week’s topic sees the conversation turn to the modern obsession with wellness, self-improvement and looking good. The girls then dive into everything from elaborate skincare routines, healthy snack influencers, sleep trackers and Whoops, to “5-to-9 before your 9-to-5” culture, LinkedIn corporate theatre, Stephen Bartlett’s productivity empire, and the pressure to optimise every minute of your life. Ultimately, they ask, have we all forgotten how to sit down, relax, and enjoy a little bit of whimsy?
