The South African Music Performance Rights Association (SAMPRA) has been assisting some artists and event organizers with reigniting the music industry through sponsorships for album recording etc. #DeeNkomo is joined by hit maker Producer and DJ, De Mogul SA who released a 6-track EP titled 2745 sponsored by SAMPRA which features Boontle RSA, Miss Twaggy and many other upcoming artists in the music industry.

The CCMA has announced the reopening their offices for walk ins on the 3rd of May. Since the beginning of lockdown in 2020, most offices had to shut down and the CCMA was one of those offices, giving people only the option to send emails or complain online. #DeeNkomo is joined on the line by the CCMA Director, Adv. He’s working on an 11 track EP at the moment sponsored by the SAMPRA Development Fund and he joins #DeeNkomo to talk about it.

On the 13th of April the Archive at the Centre of Memory hosted a new virtual reality exhibition titled, Reality Check: Walter Sisulu - Accused #2. And this is based on the audio recordings from The Rivonia Trial. The exhibition happened at Nelson Mandela Foundation offices in Houghton and from what I saw online it was such a great event and such a triggering exhibition. #DeeNkomo speaks with the Director of Archive and Research at the Nelson Mandela Foundation- Razia Saleh about it
