Hello great people of the #afri-tunes community. It's another great week for us to share with everyone what we got when it comes to performing songs from African artists. This is my entry for the #afri-tunes weekly music contest, week 131.

For this week, I decided to perform this amazing song “Before You Wake Up” by a Nigerian artist, Adekunle Gold. This song is centered around love. The lyrics are well combined to make a melodious rhythm.

Here is the video of the original song:

Here is the lyrics to the song in case someone feels like to join me and vibe to the afrobeat:

I know you need a holiday

Let's go away for six months, twice in a year, baby

I know you want a fancy wedding, yeah

I don call Beyoncé and Jay-Z

They go come sing for you my lady

Oya baby oh

I know we met yesterday

See girl, e no matter

Plenty girls for my phone but na you I dey answer

Omo shey you know say your love e dey cool my temper

I go give you my life oh

Before you wake up

My mind is made up

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

I no go mess up oh baby

Before you wake up (Wake up)

I don dey love up oh

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

I no go breakup oh baby

Hard guy, hard guy

Na me dey fall in love and this no be plan

Bad boy, bad boy

Ordinary love, e don fall my hand

See me na me find trouble

This love e burst my muscle

'Cause anytime I dey think about you girl

E be like say ka jo lepo ko ma lo

Fayabomi, baby fayabomi

Fayabomi, baby jor

Oyi na tumo

Fayabomi, baby fayabomi

Fayabomi, baby jor (Jor)

Before you wake up

My mind is made up

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

I no go mess up oh baby

Before you wake up (Wake up)

I don dey love up oh

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

I no go breakup oh baby

Before you wake up (Let me be your lover)

My mind is made up

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

I no go mess up oh baby

Before you wake up

I don dey love up oh

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

I no go breakup oh baby

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

(Love you like no other)

Oh baby before you wake up

I don dey love up oh

Baby let me love you, love you, love you

(I no go breakup oh baby)

Before you wake up

Hello, my dear friends of the #vibes community on Hive. It's @captainman again and this time, I will be making us “vibe up” our day with some amazing song videos once again.

For this vibes music contest week, week #20, I chose to sing this awesome song, “I’LL BE BACK” by SAM FELDT ft ROOKIES. This was the song I wanted to sing for one of the past weeks when we had to focus on Sam Feldt but I later sang another of his songs. So for this week, I chose this one finally.

This is a song of love and care, a song one can sing to people you care about and as well care about you.

I love the song so much and I'm sure you too might have begun to fall in love with it, lolz.

Thanks for watching my friends. I hope this has made your day.

Enjoy your week.

Hello my dear friends in the #vibes community. It's another week and a week of greater expectations.

I just feel like I have achieved a great goal by making my entry video for the #Vibes wbe3 music contest week 19. For this week, I decided to go for this popular American rapper by Jarad Anthony Higgins known professionally as Juice Wrld. I decided to go for one of his amazing songs, “Can't Be Replaced”.

It's an amazing song and I tried my best to give the song what it deserves. Here is the song link for more details:

For the lyrics, you can easily find the here:

Good day, friends of the #Vibes community. It's been a great week indeed. I feel so good today because I have finally made my entry for the week #18 Vibes music contest.

It seemed like I would not have an entry for this week due to incessant exams, but I still made it.

For this week, I decided to go for this amazing old song, **Forever Young** by Jay Z ft( Hudson). It's a song of hope and love. It took me approximately two weeks to get myself vexed with the lyrics of this song, especially the rap verses.

Since last week, it's been exams back to back, so making my music video is one of my greatest achievements this week.

I made my video yesterday just before I got to find out that this week came with a nice theme but I have no choice.

I hope you enjoyed watching my video.

I also shared this video on my X profile.

Hello, my dear friends of the #vibes community. It's been an awesome week indeed. I feel so good today because I have achieved most of my activities in my daily schedule for today. One of the significant ones was the making of My Vibes music video.

Next week, exams will kick start and there will be no time to make videos anymore, so making the video today against making it next week is a great success.

For this week, I'm going to shock everyone, hehe. I was pondering on which song I was vexed by the lyrics but something told me, "Don't stress boy, go for "Before You Wake Up", everyone would like it ". I didn't think twice, I went for it.

So for this week, I'm presenting this song, "Before You Wake Up " by Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian artiste.

Here are the lyrics to the song you wish to sing along:

Thanks for watching. Enjoy your day friends!

Thanks for watching my video. Here are the details of the ride.

My joy, Harlom Bullet. Yesterday was a memorable day for me. A day to showcase my skills in #cycling. I learned how to ride with one hand since but I wasn't that perfect as I used to struggle with balance. But yesterday was a day of making a difference. I was able to cycle with one hand and also balance the weight of the bag I was hanging by the bike, awesome right?

Yesterday Saturday was a busy day for everyone in the house. We did a general house cleaning activity. So part of my duty was to go have the kitchen waste disposed of. I gathered the waste into one bag and headed to Michael's house to get my bike.

When I got there, Michael was just coming out of the bathroom and was in his tower.

So he helped me bring out the bike due to their dog's aggressive bark. He stood the bike before I balanced my bag by the handle, and then we exchanged pleasantries before I rode off.

On my way out, I got some photos of myself. I asked Michael to snap me while riding. This simply means that I was riding with one hand. It seemed impossible at first and I almost fell but as I got committed to cycling with one hand, I was able to do it.

My ride to the waste site with my phone and getting some photos wouldn't have been possible if I hadn't cycled with one hand because of the bag's heaviness.

On my way, I encountered bad roads. I also passed one of the bad paths where I fell once and had an injury, I can never forget that place.

On my way going, I saw a lady cycling. At this point, I learned that cycling could be of different types. She is lame, and can't walk so she moves about by #cycling. She paddles her bicycle with her hands. I imagined how stressful that would be even though she might have adapted to it. I also saw the little girl who helped her by pushing her out of the sandy compound to the tarred road. I also imagined how she would fare with those bad roads. I had empathy for her, but I couldn't help.

So after a little pause to observe the woman's hand cycling, I progressed to where I was heading.

With faster paddling and more focus, I arrived at the disposal site. When I got there, I parked my bike and had the waste disposed of. Now cycling is made easier, no more heavyweight and balance issues.

On my way back, I saw a young guy like me and I called him to give me some shots and he accepted. I was glad he took as many photos as he could before I got the phone from him and cycled back home.

As I was cycling back home, I saw several individuals who also used their bicycles for transportation, though they parked them to sort out things in shops.

From the highway, I sped to Michael's house, parked my bike and returned home. This time, the dog didn't make a noise, I guess it had marked itself now as a usual visitor.

Hello, my dear friends of the #vibes community. I feel so happy to have an entry this time in the #Vibes /Web 3 music contest. It seemed impossible, but I'm excited it's a reality.

For this week, I will be going for this amazing song by Will Adiks, Ikenile Dinakagi. Will Adiks is a popular Nigerian Gospel Singer. I love his songs so much because they often throw me out of the normal realm to the realm of music. Even from the video one could see that I had to close my eyes at some points.

Though the song needed a second person, a responder at some point I did the two jobs myself, amazing right?

Yes!!!!! Another enjoyable time. When was the last time you ate a sugarcane plant or have you ever tasted it at all? If not, then be jealous because you're missing a lot. The only thing I know is I have never grown on my farm since I began this aspect of #homesteading money, I wish I could also grow money on my farm, that would be amazing, hehe.

Yesterday was a very hectic one for me because I returned from school very late. I was very exhausted and I knew I needed glucose(energy), that's sugar. I remember we had a sugarcane plant in the backyard so the job was easy and life fulfilled. I just headed to the backyard with a well-sharpened knife and cut down some stems of the sugarcane.

At the sugarcane plantation, I saw many dead areas of the formerly cut stems. So I selected a huge stem I knew was mature and would have a very nice taste and cut it down.

I didn't only cut for myself, I had in mind everyone in the house. So immediately I went in with the bag which I put them in, my little nephew began to select the biggest stems for himself even when he didn't know what they were, hehe.

No one in the house wanted it that night, so I had to go peel for myself alone that night. I took the stem I loved and washed it in the water sink.

After washing, I then used my knife to peel them. After peeling I sliced them into cuboidal shapes to aid in easy chewing.

As I was cutting the stem into segments, I didn't forget "REPLANTING". So I practiced harvesting and replanting on the sugarcane farm. So I didn't cut the sugarcane nodes, I kept those parts for planting the next day.

So immediately after the peeling, I washed it again then took it to my room and enjoyed it alone, hehe.

In a very short timeframe, the "logs" of sugarcane were "munched" to chaffs.

It was a very big enjoyment last night.

So this morning, before leaving for school, I had to plant the stems I kept yesterday night. Just as I said earlier, the nodes are the starting point of germination for the sugarcane plant so I planted with caution making sure the nodes were exposed.

I will make the procedures very simple. I started by digging up my three holes since I had only three stems to plant.

[IMG_20240705_070729_490.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/captainman/AJkS9bcXVkpzB1jXwcrmFDENHk7aGGpZVPZNSimy65ogjZVWTqzts5o2yahLRdQ.jpg)

Then I carefully placed the stems with the nodes facing upwards and exposed them a bit.

Then I cover the holes up again. Constant watering every morning can help increase the probability of survival, so for anyone who would love to practice sugarcane planting practice, I would encourage constant watering, at least twice a day.

Just as I used to say and I'll keep on emphasizing, #homesteading is a unique practice, a lifestyle of self-sufficiency and home agriculture. With the practice of homesteading, I feel like I have everything in the world on my farm.

Thanks for reading.

All the images are mine

Hello, my sweet people of the #vibes community. This is my entry for the #vibes week 14 contest.

For this round, I decided to sing this awesome song, "BETTER" by Sam Feldt and Gavin James. When I wanted to sing Sam Feldt's song for this round of the contest, I had to stream many of his songs and finally found this heartwarming song from him. I love this song so much, one can get courage from the lyrics alone.

I practiced this song for days until I familiarized myself with the lyrics. Thanks for watching my video, I hope you enjoyed it.
