Do you create a voice experience for your listener with your voice?  It doesn’t even have to be when you stand on a stage, it can be when you teach, have a sales call, or even a conversation or video.

In today’s episode, I reflect on a situation that momentarily took my peace and the techniques I used to lean in and get my peace back.

You might not have ever thought about this, stuck sound.  Many people realize their sound is stuck in the back of their throat but most people have no idea that their sound is stuck, much less in how many places.  The flow of sound is the issue, not volume.  The subconscious sticks your sound hoping it won‘t flow out to my heart, there is potential judgment if it does.

Today I‘ve got a BIG topic!  Playing big with your voice.  Far too many people play small vocally and a big percentage of those people know they are doing it.

You may not realize that there are sounds in your voice that are repelling people, like ideal clients.  Repelling is a strong word but everyone has an aversion to different sounds.

Today I‘m talking about voice stories and the noise that creates the foundation for Psychology of the Voice.

Stories come from experiences, things people say, environment, culture.  Oftentimes these stories in our mind, these voice stories are created from negative experiences.

One of the things that we are seeing in the data is the Millenials are refusing, polished, perfect, on, radio guy voice.  They want to know who you are.

We are also seeing data where people are more desperate to connect with real people, who let them in vocally and reveal their most authentic self vocally.
