Card Talk

This past weekend, Card Talk was pleased to go live with a full cast and 4 guests. We all talked about favorite cards from the Core Set and Shadows of Mirkwood cycle. There were some interesting choices and some choices that were not surprising. Thanks to everyone who joined!

Another classic card, this card seems to not see that playing time it may deserve. Even though Grant sits this one out, Dave and Ted seem to have no problem filling up the time talking about this spirit attachment.

A lore hero from the core set, Beravor allows you to have consistent card draw. She also has the Dunedain and Ranger trait, for those keeping score. We spent a lot of time discussing other ways to get card draw beside her. What's your opinion on her?

In this special spoiler episode, we talk about the newly spoiled and highly anticipated last hero of the game, Spirit Aragorn. As a spirit hero, he sure does slot into a few decks. And the community is already abuzz about the card. People have formed their strong opinions. Maybe we can change yours?

SPOILER!!! The final pack of the Vengeance of Mordor cycle (and the game, for now) was announced yesterday. In it is the contract. It really gets the creative juices flowing about deck building and creation and how to construct a deck using its limitations. It's so much fun!!

In this episode we have Bob and Chrissy talking about Tactics Imrahil. I met Bob and Chrissy at Con of the Rings 2019 and Ted apparently has been friends with them for a long time.
