Louisville women's soccer opened their regular season with a less than ideal draw while field hockey kicked off the exhibition season with a strong win over Bellarmine. Volleyball is next on the list with the red and black scrimmage.

After some catching up on their personal goings-on, the guys look at a bit of news around the program before turning their attention to season prognostications for the fall sports. With women's soccer starting their regular season this week, what better time to predict a final record? There is also plenty of excitement (and expectation) around the field hockey and volleyball teams.

It's been another long summer for the Cardinal Couple Crew, but the doldrums are coming to a close. It's almost a full house on this week's show so there's plenty to go around on this podcast only episode. Jared and Daryl rejoin the show after a pair of long absences, and the gang catches up with each other along with the UofL news.

Without too many events to talk about for the Cards, the guys look at the mountains of news over the last couple of weeks. There are coaches and players galore incoming across campus, so be sure to tune in to be caught up with all of UofL's happenings.

As the summer slump continues, the guys continue to revel in any news of Louisville women's athletics they can get. There's some of that as teams and players take on international duty. All that and more as they work their way through the hour.

The guys cover the recently announced fall sports schedules in depth. With mixed optimism and pessimism about the prospects of the various sports, the conversations get quite lively in a relatively long show for the summer slump.

The CCRHP crew takes a jog along just about all of Floyd Street as they cover tidbits and treats from most of the UofL women's sports programs. Personnel changes in Softball, Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, and Lacrosse are in the run down, along with a brief recap of Volleyball in Brazil.

The Cardinal Couple Crew once again gets together to discuss Summer things like weddings, summer excursions, local connections being built in a couple of UofL sports programs, and more.

After a diversion into the differing approach that Millineals have to the world than previous generations, Jared, Jeff, and Paulie talk about the impact that the volleyball trip to Brazil will have on the team in the fall, and whether that program has to potential to take another, final step to the top of the heap come December. They next delve into Softball pitching, starting from Brooke Gray's imminent arrival on campus in the fall and explore how the game of Softball has changed with respect to pitching. Finally the trio explores the local connections for Basketball and celebrate what seems to be some improved relations between the UofL program and local high schools.

A hearkening back to the old days of the basement on a hill as Paul and Jeff look at what comes next for Softball, with a dive into the incoming freshman class for UofL Softball and how it does, or doesn't, backfill the departing skillsets. They also share some news of Cards in the Pros, from Softball and Volleyball, bring a quick update of the Volleyball team's trip to Brazil, the Basketball team's upcoming trip to Canada, and a hint of some news in the Lacrosse Coaching staff.

We celebrate and congratulate the happy couple, Jared and Katy, on their wedding later today.

It's another light crew as Jeff, Jared, and Case hold down the fort in the first real week of the summer slump. The guys cover more accolades for spring athletes, pro Cards in women's basketball, and some of the women's college world series. They also devote a disproportionate amount of time to restroom and sun path layouts in stadiums and race tracks.
