Episode Title: Treatment of Psychotrauma with Alon Weltman
Interviewer: Rachel Alexander
Interviewee: Alon Weltman
In this Career Up Now Socially Distanced Close-Up Israel Edition Podcast, Rachel Alexander interviews Alon Weltman, Psychologist and Director of Development at The Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma.
Alon's journey with the institute started due to a lucky coincidence, and now 13 years later, he is still there working on what was presumed to be a novel idea. Alon is an empathetic man who realizes that not many people are genuinely interested in knowing how the veterans are doing. People might be dealing with all kinds of issues without having any proper outlet. It's these humane thoughts and connections that drive Alon to fight off stigmas and create programs for those that needed it the most.
Let's join Alon Weltman and our host Rachel Alexander for this unconventional conversation.
