David is the founder and director of Invidar, a tech company in Poole that specialises in real time 3D solutions and immersive technology. David talks about his time at BU where he studied BSc Games Technology. He explains how he developed his technical skills and built experience through placement and other opportunities and talks about his experience of building a business during the Covid pandemic.

  • E2: Meet the Founder- Mollie Taylor, Four Acre Farm
    In this episode, Amanda Fripp, Careers Adviser at BU, talks to Bournemouth University Alumni Mollie Taylor. Mollie graduated from BU with a MSc Biodiversity Conservation and went on to work within conservation in roles such as a ranger to engagement project coordinator.
    Mollie went on to co-found the Four Acre Farm which is a community interest company in Ringwood. In this episode Mollie explains her aims of regenerating the land to support conservation and no dig farming, as well giving back to the community within education and wellbeing.
    Mollie also achieved second place in the 2022 BU Eco Entrepreneurs Fund which was sponsored by Santander, and she talks about her experience of this process.
