Imagine a place where your loved one:

Learns life skills to be as independent as possible.

Makes their own decisions, while having appropriate supports in place.

Chooses to participate in community activities that fit their personal interests.

Is supported by trained, dedicated and compassionate staff members.

  • Cares for Causes - Rochester Area Foundation

Rochester Area Foundation is a place where generous people from diverse backgrounds come together to make our communities better places.

As the Rochester area’s philanthropic leader, we award grants each year that are made possible by financial gifts from donors—people who care about the greater Rochester community and want to see it thrive. Our endowment relies on donor gifts and market growth for its success.

We lead by bringing people together to solve complicated community problems, realizing that for some issues there are no immediate solutions or simple answers.

  • Cares for Causes - Elder Network

Elder Network was founded in 1988 in Rochester Minnesota. Our mission is “Individuals impacted by the limiting effects of aging have an optimal quality of life.” We are a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We primarily serve three counties in Southeast Minnesota: Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona. However, our educational offerings and support groups are open to anyone that would like to attend. Elder Network has developed nine non-medical programs that support seniors and their caregivers. We are a well-respected organization providing non-medical elder care which isn’t provided by other organizations doing similar services. We  also collaborate with other organizations so that we are able to support seniors and their caregivers whether we do the service or whether we refer them to an organization that provides the services they require. Our outreach extends to all regardless of elder traditions, cultures or religions. These programs include Senior Advocacy, Education, Support Groups, Companion Services, Respite Care In-Home, Friendly Visitors, Technology Assistance, and Medical and Non-Medical Transportation. Not all services are available in all counties
