Empty Bowls remains a crucial part of Channel One’s work to increase food security for our friends and neighbors. The past year has introduced many obstacles in ensuring that people in our region do not go hungry. All of the funds raised from the 17th annual Empty Bowls will be put back into our community and will directly benefit those who are facing uncertainty during this unprecedented time.
Rochester Area Foundation is a place where generous people from diverse backgrounds come together to make our communities better places.
As the Rochester area’s philanthropic leader, we award grants each year that are made possible by financial gifts from donors—people who care about the greater Rochester community and want to see it thrive. Our endowment relies on donor gifts and market growth for its success.
We lead by bringing people together to solve complicated community problems, realizing that for some issues there are no immediate solutions or simple answers.

This haunted house is operated by a 501(c)3 whose mission is to support the arts in our local community. Our current focus is the arts in our local school district; including Band, Choir, Theater and the Fine Arts.
Each year we produce a new, uniquely themed haunt. See below for this year's theme and details. A small portion of our proceeds go toward the upkeep, improvement and taxes for the haunt site.

Family Service Rochester was founded in 1965 as a nonprofit organization with a staff of three and the mission to support and enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in our community.
The Olmsted County Historical Society was established in 1926 by Burton Eaton and several other founding members with the intention of collecting and preserving the history of Olmsted County. Our first museum opened in the basement of the Rochester Public Library in 1940. In 1959, we moved into what had been the Bethel English Lutheran Church, but soon outgrew the space. We then built a new museum building on land purchased in southwest Rochester in 1972, where we have been collecting, preserving, and educating ever since. In 2006, the Olmsted County Historical Society began doing business as the History Center of Olmsted County (HCOC).
The Olmsted County Historical Society dba History Center of Olmsted County is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by members via a Board of Director. Each year we, together with our enthusiastic volunteers, provide presentations, educational and outreach programs, special events, museum exhibits, and more. We currently own and operate two historic buildings and two historic farmsteads, in addition to operating seasonal tours of Mayowood Mansion.
