Jennifer was born and raised in the Midwest. She got her love of the written word from her father and her tenacity from her mother, and eventually, she tried her hand at a full-length novel.

Ms. Hawks has always been interested in writing in some form or other. A few years back, she was involved with, then ran a Star Trek Interactive Writing Group. That group was successful for a number of years. Yes, she is a trekker and proud of it.

A few years back, she received her Master’s Degree in Ancient Civilizations, Native American History and United States History. It was at this time she got involved in role playing on FaceBook, which gave her ample opportunities to grow and hone her writing ability.

Barbara M. Britton was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but currently lives in Southeast Wisconsin and loves the snow—when it accumulates under three inches. Barb writes romantic adventures for teens and adults in the Christian fiction and mainstream markets. She is published in Biblical fiction and enjoys bringing little known Bible characters to light in her stories. Barb is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Romance Writers of America and Wisconsin Romance Writers of America. Kat was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she learned to roller skate, ride a banana seat bike, and love Shakespeare. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and is happily employed as a retail pharmacist. She is married to her soul mate, composer Lee de Falla and raising four kids together ala the Brady Bunch. The Seer's Lover was Kat's first book and she is working feverishly on four different series at the moment!

My debut novel, Carpe Diem, Illinois, won the 2014 Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year Award for non-traditionally published fiction, was a finalist in the Independent Author Network 2015 Book of the Year, and a runner-up in the 2016 Shelf Unbound Best Indie Book Competition. Its sequel, God on Mayhem Street, was released in August of 2016. I’m a Chicago Writers Association board member, the managing editor of CWA’s The Write City Magazine and The Write City Review, and a UW-Madison Division of Continuing Studies adjunct writing instructor where I offer workshops, critique manuscripts, and help writers practice their agent pitches. I have a B.A. in psychology and a J.D., both from UW-Madison.

I am a writer and a teacher. I fell in love with stories and writing when I was in second grade. Since then, I've found that stories shape my world, open doors for me, give me the courage and the power to face the 'monsters.' Isabella Gardner claims in her poem, The Minotaur, that we all must face our monsters on our own. But I find, with stories, we never have to be alone.
