  • Essential Oils usage for -mental-health/Dementia brain fog
    Essential Oils and Dementia
Dementia occurs when nerve cells in the brain become damaged. Recognizing that this affects several areas of the brain, most people experience it uniquely. Consequently, there are various types of dementia, which are generally categorized by two factors: the section of the brain damaged, and whether or not the condition worsens. Of all the different subtypes, Alzheimer’s disease is the most common in people over 65, and it’s interesting to note that research suggests essential oils can help #Alzheimer’s patients considerably. In one study, for example, aromatherapy was used with elderly people suffering from dementia, with the majority being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Every morning, the patients were given rosemary and lemon inhalations and then orange and lavender in the evening. Through multiple forms of analysis, it was uncovered that the “patients showed significant improvement in personal orientation” without any side effects #yardness

  • Classical Reggae popular Oldies from 2012 a great mix of music
Reggae has spread to many countries across the world, often incorporating local instruments and fusing with other genres. Reggae en Español spread from the Spanish speaking Central American country of Panama to the mainland South American countries of Venezuela and Guyana then to the rest of South America. Caribbean music in the United Kingdom, including reggae, has been popular since the late 1960s and has evolved into several subgenres and fusions. Many reggae artists began their careers in the #UK, and there have been a number of European artists and bands drawing their inspiration directly from Jamaica and the Caribbean community in Europe. #Reggae in Africa was boosted by the visit of #Bob Marley to Zimbabwe in 1980. In Jamaica, authentic reggae is one of the biggest sources of income

Reggae is deeply linked to the Rastafari, an Afrocentric religion which developed in Jamaica in the 1930s, aiming at promoting Pan Africanism Soon after the Rastafarian movement appeared, the international popularity of reggae music became associated with and increased the visibility of Rastafarianism spreading the Rastafari gospel throughout the world.[8] Reggae music is an important means of transporting vital messages of #Rastafarianism. The musician becomes the messenger, and as Rastafarians see it," the soldier and the musician are tools for change.

  • What Sickle-Cell Anemia, managing and preventing crisis- Nadiyah Alexander
Historically, sickle cell disease was viewed as a pediatric condition with a life expectancy in the United States of just 14 years. Today, as a result of advances in screening and interventions, people with sickle cell disease typically live into adulthood; the average life span in the United States, however, is still 30 years less than the life span of the general population. Today, the majority of patients with SCD are adults.Healthcare professionals discern several categories of blood disorders. Among them, it is possible to notice a sickle-cell disease. Several types of this health condition exist, but the most widespread one is called a sickle-cell anemia. Thus, we can say that SCA is just another form of anemia. The main reason for the problem to exist is the heredity – the patient obtains the disorder from his or her parents.live-chat-managing-and-preventing-sickle-cell-crisis-with-nadiyah-alexander

  • Jamming with jamaica-ska-oldies-and-goodies-60s-70s-80s
Reggae is characterized by a heavy backbeat rhythm, meaning the emphasis of the beat is on, for example, beats 2 and 4, when the song is in 4/4 time. This backbeat is characteristic of all African-based musical styles and is not found in traditional European or Asian music. Reggae drummers also emphasize the third beat when in 4/4 time with a kick to the bass drum.
    Rastafarianism
Rastafarianism is a religion and social movement established in Jamaica in the 1930s. It is characterized as an Abrahamic system of belief, in that its adherents claim their faith has it origins in the practices of ancient Israelites, who worshipped the "God of Abraham." Many of the world's most famous reggae musicians practice this religion, and therefore many reggae lyrics reflect the beliefs and traditions of Rastafarianism.

  • Celebrating Mother's Day May 12th Today with great Classic oldies Reggae music
The modern holiday of #Mother's Day was first celebrated in #1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia.] St Andrew's Methodist Church now holds the International Mother's Day Shrine. Her campaign to make Mother's Day a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis, died. Ann Jarvis had been a peace activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the American Civil War, and created Mother's #Day Work Clubs to address public health issues. Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honor all mothers because she believed a mother is "the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world".
In 1908, the U.S. Congress rejected a proposal to make Mother's Day an official holiday, joking that they would also have to proclaim a "Mother-in-law's Day". However, owing to the efforts of Anna Jarvis, by 1911 all U.S. states observed the holiday, with some of them officially recognizing Mother's Day as a local holiday] (the first being West Virginia, Jarvis' home state, in 1910). In 1914, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating Mother's Day, held on the second Sunday in May, as a national holiday to honor mothers.Celebrating Mother's Day  May 12th Today with great Classic oldies Reggae music

  • Jamaica Music Legend Derrick Morgan Jamaica-ska rocksteady reggae-legend-live
The Jamaican musicians and producers who created the rocksteady sound out of ska were well-versed in jazz and readily influenced by other genres, most notably rhythm and blues (R&B), plus African drumming. Perhaps the most easily recognizable element and that which could be considered reggae music's gift to the world, as in ska, is an offbeat rhythm; staccato chords played by a guitar and piano on the offbeats of the measure. The perceived tempo became slower with the development of rocksteady than it had been in ska. The guitar and piano players began to experiment with occasional accents around the basic offbeat pattern. This can be heard throughout Jamaican recordings in subsequent years.
