Love & Marriage: Detroit was created by renowned reality TV producer, Carlos King, and is produced by his Kingdom Reign Entertainment for OWN. A new season of Love & Marriage: Detroit returns September 7 on OWN.
Carlos King is the CEO of Kingdom Reign Entertainment and the creator and executive producer of the Love & Marriage franchise for OWN, which includes Love & Marriage: Huntsville, Love & Marriage: D.C. and Love & Marriage: Detroit. Carlos also created and executive produces Belle Collective and Family Empire: Houston for OWN. Previously he was an executive producer on The Real Housewives of Atlanta for several seasons, and currently he is at the helm of his very own wildly successful podcast, Reality With the King. Carlos is an out and proud, openly gay Black man with a passion for telling stories that reflect the Black female experience, inspired by his loving relationship with his own mom. A Detroit native, Carlos has his pulse on pop culture and across all of the buzzy shows today.
