Carousel Radio is a show and a podcast that is planned and presented by our learning disabled DJs and radio presenters. It’s one of the only places on the radio where you can hear spoken word exclusively by learning disabled artists.

The Carousel Radio team of Davot, Fran and Claire shared their skills with learners from Downs View Life Skills College in Brighton, who then produced their own podcast.

The learners tell us their favourite jokes, play music from learning disabled musicians, tell as about their favourite things and use everyday objects to tell a sound fx story.

Voicebox podcasts give an opportunity for young learning disabled people to express themselves through exploring sound.
