What a blast catching up with New Jersey's own Emerson Hart from one of the underrated bands of all time- 90's hit makers - TONIC. 

Emerson checked in to discuss kicking off a cool holiday tour with his pals Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray and Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra as a part of his "Ezra Ray Hart" project - which mixes the catalogs of all three bands with holiday tunes and a few surprises. Emerson also talks about Jersey roots, the special feel of their million selling record "Lemon Parade" surviving the 90's and why being a faceless band of the ear was actually a great thing.

Des Rocs is as real as they come when it comes to authenticity in music. 

A New York kid (4 generations strong) who was born Danny Rocco, Des first entered my radar in 2018, but it wasn't until I saw him perform live (opening for The Rolling Stones in a stadium!) in 2019, that I started to connect Des with a new sound of New York. We discuss his new tune "This Land" from the Borderlands 4 gaming series, crafting sound, tone, touring, grit and polish and more.

Most know Vernon Reid from his band Living Colour and his various guitar projects, but his deep dive into his new release - "Hoodoo Telemetry",  radio, The Black Rock Coalition (which he founded in 1985) , his love of Ernie Isley, fragmenting artists in the music biz and on the radio, rebellion and the Satantic Panic in music and more, made this one of the most amazing Carr Stereo chats. 

Vernon is a guitar goat, a crafter of sound and a fantastic hang.

Their 2019 debut "Celebrity Mansions" was killer and then they were gone.  Their frontman Matt Bigland joins me for an in-depth chat about his health, survival, falling in love and getting creative again. The bands new release - "I've Felt Better" is a fun banger, (with an autobiographical message)
