What makes a good adaptation? For me, it's about how the story makes me feel. Listen for more on what I believe makes an adaptation click for audiences, readers, etc., and a few comments about other stories that deserve air time. 

I explore the different ways in which an ecofeminist lens can be applied to the treatment of women and nature within the text. This is one of many possible readings of Uprooted by Naomi Novik, and I tried to strike a balance for those who have or have not read the story. Either way, you ought to be able to share your thoughts afterwards about how well you think this critical theory applies!
