Sometimes this show is fun to make. Sometimes. This is one of them, we draw up the battle lines between Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers and X-Men The Animated Series. The main points? Merchandise, Gravestones, and figuring out if Wolverine can fit inside a tree.
Also Just for fun I made episode specific "art". Have fun everyone.
Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers
Season 1 ep 1 Piratsy Under the Seas
Warning: the audio for this episode is garbage.
Bats and Turtles a classic matchup akin to cats and dogs, Ants and Ant-eaters, humans and humans. Who has the best jam? Which is the best of its franchise? All questions we will try to answer.
We are also watching more than the top three imdb episodes, now we are watching the first episode of every season (up to 10 episodes). As always IMDB is our bible for episode numbers and season numbers. Looking at you Disney+ and your 1 season of 64 episodes for basically every show.
This week we watched:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Rodents- some fly and beat up people with mental health issues, others ride around on motorcycles and hit on everything that moves. That's right this week we watched Batman: The Animated Series and Biker Mice from Mars, it was the 1st seed versus the 16th seed. Can you guess which one was which?
We are talking about animation quality, music/sound design, writing, and overall impact factor. All the usual points, but there may be some surprises in this episode.
This week, we’re watching:
Batman: the Animated Series:
Season 1 ep 35: Almost Got 'im
Biker Mice from Mars
Season 2 ep 19: Hickory Dickory Doc
In this episode the bois explore Anthropomorphism; the tendency of humanity to attribute human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities. Which is considered to be an innate tendency of human psychology. Turtles that act like people, Kats that act like people- What is not to love!
Swat Kats and TMNT are similar in a lot of ways but only one show can come out on top. Will it be the shredding on the electric guitar that pushes the Kats to the next round? Or the actual Shredder that seals TMNT victory?
Episodes we watched:
Swat Kats
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Peter completely forgot to post episodes for WEEKS! And now he remembered to! No excuses either Dave finished editing weeks ago.
Episodes we watched:
Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers
Beast Wars: Transformers
