Cartwright! A Seinfeld Podcast

Seinfeld Episode 4 (Season 5) Summary: “Jerry thinks his accountant is a drug addict. Jerry, Kramer, and Newman plot a stakeout. George plans another career change: bra salesman.”

Original air date: October 7, 1993

“Here’s to feeling good all the time.” Not only is that a helluva line but it’s also the ONLY toast co-host Corey ever gives! Pretty much ‘nuff said, right? ‘The Sniffing Accountant’ also has Frank Costanza and Newman in it so you know the boys are loving life right about now! Listen and find out how many D-cups (“That's the biggest”) out of five we give the episode.

Seinfeld Episode 3 (Season 5) Summary: “George loses his glasses and thinks he sees Jerry’s girlfriend with his cousin Jeffrey. A strange dog bites Elaine and Kramer helps Jerry buy a powerful air conditioner.”

Original air date: September 30, 1993

“I don’t know what to believe! You’re eating onions and spotting dimes! I don’t know what’s going on!” Like George’s vision, this episode is all over the place! From fantastic comedic performances by Michael Richards & Julia Louis-Dreyfus to a mediocre main story line & a very distracting studio audience, ‘The Glasses’ just didn’t have the consistency Adam and Corey were expecting! But is it as bad as ‘The Trip’ last season (our lowest rated ep)? Listen and find out…

Seinfeld Episode 2 (Season 5) Summary: “During dinner with Kramer’s low-talking girlfriend, Jerry unwittingly agrees to wear a puffy shirt for his upcoming “The Today Show” appearance.”

Original air date: September 23, 1993

“But I don’t wanna be a pirate!” From the puffy shirt to Jerry Stiller’s first appearance (in shooting order - the season 4 appearance was a re-shoot for syndication) as Frank Costanza, this is such a memorable and funny episode, but it isn’t perfect! Find out what holds it back from true greatness as we break it down scene by scene!

Seinfeld Episode 1 (Season 5) Summary: “When Jerry learns Elaine faked orgasms with him, he pleads for another chance in bed. Krammer’s banned from his local fruit stand and George the sexual power of mango.”

Original air date: September 16, 1993

“Oh, that Meryl Streep, she’s such a phony baloney!” We’re starting Seinfeld Season 5 off on a great foot with ‘The Mango!’ Adam and Corey have an absolute blast discussing this underrated (in our opinion) episode! Plus, Joe freakin’ rocks! The boys wish they saw more of him in the series (RIP Leonard Termo).

In this episode, Adam and Corey discuss their overall thoughts on the season as a whole, what the top 5 most downloaded episodes were, and the boys breakdown their 3 favorite and least favorite episodes were!
