Caru Das Adhikari is the President and founder—alongside his wife Vaibhavi—of the Utah Krishna Temple. He has served as temple president in Sydney, Melbourne, and Berkeley (1971–1978), Director of Life Membership in Los Angeles (1980–1987), and President/Founder of KHQN Radio in Spanish Fork, Utah (1982–2005). He earned a Bhakti Sastra Degree in Vaishnava Studies in 1977.
A lifelong spiritual teacher and practitioner, Caru Das has been:
A VISTA volunteer (1969)
A vegetarian since 1970
A guest lecturer on Krishna consciousness since 1970
A marathon runner, completing 32 marathons since 1988
