On a cold Sunday in November 2021, the community of Waukesha, Wisconsin, gathered for its 58th annual Christmas parade, a long-standing tradition themed "comfort and joy". Families, marching bands, and local dance troupes filled the streets, celebrating the start of the holiday season. However, forty minutes into the festivities, the scene of celebration was shattered by a red SUV that bypassed police barriers and accelerated directly into the parade route.
What followed was a sequence of unfiltered horror as the vehicle tore through the crowd for over a mile, leaving a trail of "violent carnage" that stunned the nation.
