Adrian and I played in Aethere briefly back in 2015 and have remained friends since. He took over bass duties for ATB in 2016 and has been kicking ass ever since. Apologies for the background bus noise on this one.

The first return guest on Casting Metal, none other than the legendary Paul Ryan. Lot's to discuss with Paul as always, but today we focused on their new release "Abiogenesis: a coming into existence" out now on Agonia records.

This weeks guest is a jack of all metal trades, and master of more. Jeramie Kling currently drums in more bands I can name, but most notably plays with The Absence and Venom Inc. He's also worn the hats of a Tour Manager, Drum Tech, Roadie, Merch dude, Producer, Engineer... the list goes on. I had a great time getting to know Jeramie and swapping tour stories.

Vinnie and I are cut from the same cloth. Raiju is an absolute marvel of a band. For fans of BTBAM, Circa Survive, Dragonforce and Protest the Hero. No I did not just name random bands, these guys artfully blend so many types of genres in a cohesive way it'll make your headspin.

Scott shreds. Fallujah has become one of the most influential modern death metal acts and with their new record "Undying Light" they've evolved into the next chapter of their legacy.

We talk about some fun tour stories in this one, along with concepts and ideas behind this shift in tone and lineup.

Scott once told me "Google is going to take over the government" and I still believe him. #fallujah #illuminati

Aerith is the brain child of Aaron Green and Ken Bodene (Aborted). We discuss the genesis of this project, their extensively guest list and love of Melodic

Swedish Death Metal.

Dean and Monte chat about the industry, touring, how Archspire writes music and much more. Their headlining American tour kicks off this may with Virvum, Wormhole, and Inferi.

Jared Klein has the best impression of N64 era Link from The Legend of Zelda. He's also a killer drummer who made me rewind a single drum fill 4 times then text him to ask if it was real. This was a fun chat. For all news make sure to hit up our new site! www.castingmetalnews.com
