Die Überschrift ist Provokation, Aufforderung, Empfehlung – und der Titel des Buches, das Ulrike Germann und Eberhard Seitz vor Kurzem auf den Markt gebracht haben. Denn die beiden sehen eine transparente Organisation, eine konsequente Kommunikation und den dazu passenden digitalen Unterbau als Basis für die Unternehmen der Next Gen an.
Kommunikation ist in dieser Organisation so wichtig, dass die Kommunikationsaufgabe C-Level erreicht. Der „Chief Communications Officer“ wird die wichtigste Person neben dem CEO. Und um die Kommunikation unternehmensweit zu ermöglichen und einen zentralen Informationspunkt zu schaffen, schlagen die Autoren ein passendes Betriebssystem vor, die sogenannte CINCO (Central Intelligence Communication).
Welche Vorteile die „Communicative Organisation“ bietet und wie Unternehmenslenker:innen diese Organisationsform angehen sollten, berichtet Autor Eberhard Seitz im Interview mit unserer Agenturkollegin Nataša Forstner und Podcast-Host Ralf Dunker.
Das Buch „Disrupt your Communication!“ ist 216 Seiten stark und beim Deutschen Fachverlag (dfv Mediengruppe; ISBN 978-3-86641-351-1) erschienen. Die Autoren Ulrike Germann und Eberhard Seitz stellen ihr Werk am 20. Oktober 2022 auch auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse am Stand der dfv Mediengruppe in Halle 3.1 an Stand E121 vor.

Wie erreiche ich potenzielle Arbeitnehmer:innen? Wie kann ich sie für mein Unternehmen begeistern? Das erfahren wir von Headhunter Frank Rechsteiner, der in dieser Episode mit Nataša Forstner und Ralf Dunker von Press’n’Relations spricht. Frank ist Headhunter im IT-Bereich und stellt fest: „Die Stellenanzeige ist tot.“ Recruiting im Jahr 2022 funktioniert nach neuen Regeln, sagt er.
„Wer heute Recruiting betreibt, kommt an Social Media nicht mehr vorbei“, so Frank. Dabei geht es nicht um das Anzeigen offener Stellen, sondern vielmehr um Einblicke in das Unternehmen, die den Bewerber:innen Lust auf den neuen Arbeitsplatz machen. Durch Employer Branding eine Sogwirkung zu erzeugen, ist aber nicht einfach. Die Personalabteilung allein kann den passenden Content in der Regel nicht liefern. Hier ist die Fachabteilung unentbehrlich; Recruiting wird zur Unternehmenssache.
In dieser Podcast-Episode stellt Frank Tipps für ein erfolgreiches Recruiting vor, die sich im IT-Sektor bewährt haben und von denen Branchen wie Elektrotechnik, Maschinen- und Anlagenbau lernen können. Denn in der IT-Industrie herrscht schon lange ein sehr harter Wettbewerb um potenzielle Arbeitnehmer:innen, sodass die Branche den meisten anderen Industrien in Sachen Personal finden und binden weit voraus ist.
Frank erläutert unter anderem, welchen Stellenwert Social Media bei der Recruiting-Strategie hat und warum sich eine „spitze“ Suche nach Bewerber:innen lohnt – so lassen sich Bewerber:innen mit dem passenden Mindset finden (siehe auch Franks Buch „Recruiting Mindset – Personalgewinnung in Zeiten der Digitalisierung“).

Bereits mit sechs Jahren stand Claudia Agar auf der Bühne und hat später Gesang, Schauspiel und Tanz studiert. Nach langer Bühnenerfahrung teilt sie heute ihr Wissen mit Menschen, die an ihrer eigenen Präsentation arbeiten möchten. Dabei geht es nicht allein um die Darstellung als Redner, sondern auch um die Kommunikation im Berufsleben oder um leichteres Netzwerken.
Claudia bietet sowohl One-to-one-Coachings als auch Gruppenseminare an, in denen Mitarbeitende erfahren, wie sie sich und ihr Unternehmen besser präsentieren. Dabei greift sie die individuellen Themen und Wünsche auf und geht sehr praxisorientiert vor: Im Seminar wird viel probiert und trainiert, um einen schnellen Erfolg zu sichern.
Bei Einzel-Coachings ist ein wesentlicher Punkt, Ängste abzubauen und sich selbst kennenzulernen, bevor sie mit ihren Coachees deren Stärken herausarbeitet. „Viele Menschen sind permanent damit beschäftigt, sich mit ihren Schwächen auseinanderzusetzen. Ich bin nicht gut genug, ich kann’s ja sowieso nicht. Viele vergessen aber, was sie können“, sagt Claudia. Sie setzt bei den Stärken an und hilft dabei, sie herauszuarbeiten.
Claudia zieht Parallelen zum Musical-Theater, sie sieht die Präsentation als Rolle, die Kommunikation als Tanz. Denn Rhetorik ist nicht nur, eine gute Rede aufzubauen. Es ist Körpersprache, es ist die Dynamik der Kommunikation, die Interaktion mit dem Publikum, es geht um die Führung bei einer Rede, um einen „Tanzschritt“, der die Präsentation belebt… Und ab und zu muss man sich auch einer Rolle annehmen können, für die man sich nicht berufen fühlt. „Aber das fordert mich heraus“, motiviert Claudia. „Da muss man sich der Aufgabe stellen, erst einmal den Sinn in dieser Rolle zu finden.“
Auch bei der Kommunikation über das Internet – bei Video-Calls etc. – lasse sich die Kommunikation verbessern, sagt sie, zum Beispiel die Video-Konferenz im Stehen machen und so mehr Leben in die eigene Darstellung bringen. Das übertrage sich auf die anderen ebenso wie das passende Outfit (die Analogie zum Kostüm, mit dem man in die Rolle eines Schauspiels schlüpft).

Katrin Berlet leitet GlowDivision, eine Agentur für Visionsentwicklung und Markenstrategie. Sie ist überzeugt, die beiden Themen gehören zusammen – und dass jedes Unternehmen eine Vision braucht. Im Gespräch mit Ralf Dunker unterstreicht sie: Eine Vision bringt die Daseinsberechtigung eines Unternehmens auf den Punkt und ist essenziell für die Außen- und Innendarstellung. Denn eine Vision hat nicht nur Strahlkraft auf Kunden, sondern auch auf Bewerber:innen und die Mitarbeitenden.
„Leading through Vision“ macht das Visionsthema für die Personalabteilung und Führungskräfte bedeutend. Visionen eignen sich dazu, Mitarbeitende zu motivieren, sie möglicherweise sogar zu Corporate Influencern zu machen. Damit die Vision wirkt, muss sie zukunftsweisend sein. Wenn Mitarbeitende später einmal ihren Enkeln erzählen können „Wir haben diese Zukunft federführend mitgestaltet!“, dann passt sie.
Die Agenturchefin teilt mit uns Beispiele für gelungene Visionen und was die Don’ts beim Formulieren und Definieren sind. „We will bring a man to the moon and return him safely”, nennt sie eines der berühmtesten Beispiele für eine gelungene Vision. Einfach und klar. Diese Einfachheit hat ihre Vorteile – und ist oft schwierig zu erarbeiten. Katrin berichtet, wie man sich der Vision am besten nähert. Ihre Tipps helfen Start-ups, Mittelständlern und Konzernen, sich (erneut) der Bedeutung einer Vision bewusst zu werden und machen Lust darauf, das Überprüfen einer bestehenden oder das Aufsetzen einer neuen Vision anzugehen.

Mehr Präsenz auf der Bühne, im Job und im Privatleben – wie dies gelingt, darüber spricht unser Host Ralf Dunker dieses Mal mit zwei Gästen, die Menschen zu mehr Sichtbarkeit verhelfen. Denn „Wer nicht gesehen wird, dessen Leistung findet nicht statt“, sagt Diplom-Psychologe Dr. Axel Koch. Er ist Dekan der Fakultät Wirtschaftspsychologie und Professor für Training und Coaching an der Hochschule für angewandtes Management in Ismaning, Entwickler der Transferstärke-Methode und Autor von zahlreichen Büchern, darunter die Management-Bestseller „Die Weiterbildungslüge“ und „Change mich am Arsch“.
Für mehr Sichtbarkeit setzt sich auch Regina Mehler ein. Sie ist Gründerin von 1ST ROW und der Women Speaker Foundation und ist sich sicher: „Bei ganz vielen scheitert der nächste große Schritt an der Positionierung und der Sichtbarkeit“. Ihr Team hat sich daher zum Ziel gesetzt, Frauen zu mehr Präsenz zu verhelfen. Ihre Tipps sind für uns alle hörenswert, denn sie beschäftigt sich mit Wahrnehmung aus allen Perspektiven: Auftritt, Stimme, Aura, Content, Storytelling und vieles mehr.
Regina Mehler und Dr. Axel Koch unterstützen Menschen also sowohl dabei, (sich) besser zu präsentieren als auch bei dem Veränderungsprozess, der mit dem Personal Branding einhergeht. Die beiden gehören außerdem zu den Top-Speakern und Coaches der Ausbildung zum Professional Speaker, den die Hochschule für angewandtes Management ab Juni in Zusammenarbeit mit der namhaften Redner-Agentur Speakers Excellence veranstaltet. Bei der Ausbildung wirkt übrigens auch Andreas Hacker mit, den manche Zuhörer:innen aus der Podcast-Episode „Besser(e) Reden halten“ von Cast’n’Relations oder von einem seiner Tausenden Auftritte als Redner oder Improvisationsdarsteller kennen.

Aus Human Resources ist Human Relations geworden. Es geht nicht um die Ressource Mensch, es geht um den Menschen. Und die Personalabteilung wird zur Kommunikationsabteilung mit einem Spezialauftrag: das Unternehmen als Arbeitgeber und die interne Kommunikation zu stützen. Daher sieht Astrid Braun-Höller in der Zusammenarbeit von HR und PR ein enormes Potenzial bei der Innen- und Außendarstellung von Unternehmen.
Im Interview mit Ralf Dunker berichtet sie aus ihrem Erfahrungsschatz, den sie über viele Jahre als Coach, Rednerin und Managementberaterin in der Zusammenarbeit mit namhaften Unternehmen gesammelt hat. Astrid unterstützt ihre Auftraggeber bei der Entwicklung der Unternehmenskultur, bei der Positionierung als attraktiver Arbeitgeber, der Schärfung der Marke und der Kommunikation von Visionen. Sie hat außerdem mehrere Bücher geschrieben, darunter den Ratgeber „Wie hätten Sie’s denn gern?“, in dem sie und Katharina Pohl diverse Rezepte für ein glücklich(er)es Berufsleben zusammengetragen haben – kurzweilig serviert im Stil eines Kochbuchs.
Bekömmlich ist auch der Podcast – und macht hoffentlich manchen Zuhörer:innen Appetit darauf, ein paar der Anregungen auf den Tisch des eigenen Unternehmens zu bringen.

Dieses ist die zweite Episode mit Sascha Pallenberg, dem Kommunikator der Nachhaltigkeitsplattform „Aware“. In der vorigen Folge war Thema, warum eine nachhaltige Öffentlichkeitsarbeit immer wichtiger wird. Also eine PR und Marketingarbeit, in der Kultur, Umwelt- und Klimaschutz – die Werte eines Unternehmens – im Zentrum stehen.
Dieses Mal geht es um die Menschen, die hinter dieser Kommunikation stehen. Sascha ist ein großer Freund von Corporate Influencern – von Personen im Unternehmen, die der Firma ein Gesicht geben, die Vertrauen herstellen. Diese Influencer zu finden, ist gar nicht schwierig: Ob Top-Manager:in oder Auszubildende – alle können einen wichtigen Beitrag zur nachhaltigen Kommunikation liefern und die Werte des Unternehmens bekannt machen.
Sascha macht deutlich, dass gerade kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen ein extrem großes Potenzial haben, sich durch Corporate Influencer und eine offene Kommunikation zu profilieren. Denn diese Unternehmen können eine ganz große Stärke ausspielen, die DAX-Konzerne meist nicht mitbringen: ihre Spontaneität und ein schnelles Reaktionsvermögen.

Das Publikum ist anspruchsvoller geworden, sagt Sascha Pallenberg, Kommunikator bei der Nachhaltigkeitsplattform „Aware“. Daher erreichen typische Werbeslogans die jungen Zielgruppen nicht mehr. Heute ist eine nachhaltige Kommunikation gefragt – und zwar nicht nur im Kontext der Klima- und Umweltverträglichkeit. Hier geht es auch um Diversität und Gleichberechtigung und um Unternehmenskultur. Denn immer mehr Kunden fragen: Was kaufe ich da ein? Wie und von wem wird es hergestellt? Wie steht es um Umwelt- und Klimaschutz? Und welche Werte sind dem Unternehmen wichtig?
Dieses ist die erste von zwei Episoden mit Sascha. In der kommenden Folge (online ab 21.1.2022) stellt er uns vor, wie Mitarbeiter:innen als Corporate Influencer dazu beitragen können, die Werte eines Unternehmens bekannt zu machen.
