For employees to succeed, managers have to willing & able to manage those employees to the best versions of themselves. It's not always easy and sometimes it takes a ton of work to unlock something blocking an employee from being amazing in their role.
It always comes back to a question of willingness and ability when we evaluate someone at their role. Using this framework, we can unlock what may be holding them back from finding true passion and uncover key insights on how to help them perform well in the future.
Often we attribute value to something that prevents us from giving ourselves permission to do something else. For us that is working and working a lot instead of taking time to relax, especially in moments when it has been earned.
