Pikmin is one of Nintendo's most fascinating series in its long list of amazing franchises. Who would have thought that a series about a tiny captain, working with a bunch of cute plant life workers, would still stand in people's minds as one of Nintendo's most unique franchises?
In this mini-series, Expert Breakdown, we will be going over more than just a review of the series. Expert Breakdown is a deep dive, analyzing the development and gameplay of this series, and how it has evolved over time. This episode will focus on the history of the development of the three main series Pikmin games. Starting from the groundwork of Super Mario 128, and that small tech demo became Pikmin 3.

Happy 25th Anniversary to the Pokémon franchise! This multi-media franchise, owned by Nintendo, has had video games, movies, tv shows, comics, trading cards, phone apps, and all sorts of merchandise throughout the 25 years. And it's nice to look back on what made this franchise as strong as Nintendo's other all-star series, such as Mario and Zelda.
Nintendo also broadcasted their official Pokémon Mini-direct, labeled Pokémon Presents, which showcased so major projects coming up for Pokémon fans. Including more news on New Pokémon Snap, the announcement of the 4th generation remasters for Switch, and the quite exciting Pokémon Legends reveal, showcasing a new direction the Pokémon franchise might go in the future!
Also, apolgies for the lack of Eli (The Casual). Due to audio problems, Nick (The Expert) will be flying solo for this episode.

The free-roaming Super Mario adventures return in the remaster of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury! Released for the Wii U in 2013, it has returned on the Switch in all its cat glory. Choose between Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, or Toad and traverse each world in a hybrid of old-school 2D Mario progression, with 3D platforming Mario controls.
That's not all, this remaster comes with an all-new mode, Bowser's Fury, where Mario and Bowser Jr. must team up and collect cat shines to try to knock some sense into Bowser, who has turned into a gigantic terrifying rage machine. It's a love child between 3D world and Odyssey, but is it worth picking up to go toe to toe with The God-Killer Bowser?
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury was developed and produced by Nintendo.
