Cat Scratch Reader: for Carolina Panthers fans

I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm writing this two days after we recorded and I forgot what all we talked about. I know we talked about the Panthers alleged implementation of more 3-4 looks, our thoughts on it, and if the personnel fits those looks. We talked about the defense's performance as a whole, in line with this week's theme. We talk some draft and free agency stuff. We talk about mock draft. Brad as a couple of trademark Brad rants. Our recording app bugged out about halfway through and we had the most seamful transition into the second half of a show that you've ever seen. There's probably more stuff in there too. If you want to know what it is, you'll have to listen.

Brad couldn't make it this week, so Billy Marshall took his place for this episode. You'll know him from the many film pieces he contributes to CSR.

We talk about Eric Reid re-signing, the value of his contract, and the danger that comes with making snap judgments when initial contract details are released. We all share our thoughts on his impact on the defense and what this means for the secondary as whole.

We talk about the Panthers needs, in line with last week's coverage. The Panthers have a few of them, and we discuss which are the most pressing needs and which can be mitigated. That transitions into wide receiver talk, where Jon tries to explain why he hates Curtis Samuel.

We wrap up with potential cuts and free agent targets for the Panthers.
