Dave concludes the Called To Be Free series in Galatians at Gilc Park with Paul's Conclusion, his 'One More Thing'; a warning to receive, an example to follow and a reminder to live by. Galatians 6:11-18

Thomas looks at the way of the world obsessed with appearance, living with fear and pride and the way of the cross which means we are a new creation in Jesus but in that we also carry scars.

Reading Galatians 6:1-10, we see Paul bring everything that he has said before into a very concrete application of how Christians should relate to one another by bearing one another up and restoring one another when we fall into error. Have a realistic appreciation of our own strengths and weaknesses and measure them against Christ and not one another. Finally, by choosing to live according to the Spirit we choose to die to the way of the world. By persevering in doing good, we sew for an eternal harvest, the coming Kingdom of God. Where the treasures will not rust or rot.

Archie takes us through Galatians 5:13-26 and shows us that the freedom we have been called to is a release from the way of the world and its agenda for how we should live. We have the freedom to live the life of Christ through the presence of the Spirit dwelling in us.

Thomas draws out of Paul's warnings to the Galatians that we need to guard our actions in restlessness, that when we hold back we miss out and that Jesus is here to stay.

Hazel continues in our series in Galatians 4:21-31 and in particular the relationship between the law and the promise of God. She explains that we need to let go of the law and its rules in order to accept that we are God's children as well as having a little patience and holding tightly to the promises of God in times of waiting.
