This week host Brian McLaughlin sits down with Ella Church (5:50) from the Swimming and Diving team to discuss her recent pool record in the 1000 Yard Freestyle on Senior Day. Then they preview the upcoming America East Championship Meet where the Catamounts are the defending champs. Then fresh off a career high 27 point night Ileri Ayo-Faleye (32:40) of the Men's Basketball team joins the show. He dives into his development and the work he put into his offensive game and details the teams mindset in the midst of America East action. 

On this weeks' episode Assistant Director of Broadcast and Creative Content Sam Koskinen joins the show first. He walks host Brian McLaughlin through his busy fall traveling and creating content with the UVM Field Hockey, Women's Basketball and Men's Soccer teams. He details his approach to capturing some of the biggest moments in program history and what it's been like to be involved with a variety of the teams on campus. Then Assistant Coach with the Women's Basketball team Hayley Moore breaks down her return to her Alma Mater, Binghamton, and the Catamounts 4th straight win. Then she tells stories about playing against the Catamounts including a few active players and shares her story coaching and how she got to Burlington. 

On this weeks' episode Freshman star on the Men's Ice Hockey team Max Strand joins the show to discuss the hot start to his freshman campaign and his path to UVM. Then Catamount Assistant Coach with Men's Basketball Derryk O'Grady breaks down the recent win over Umass Lowell. He also walks listeners through an up and down start to the year and what to expect in conference action. 

Happy New Year! As the calendar has turned to 2025 host Brian McLaughlin is joined by Guard on the Men's Basketball team TJ Hurley (7:10) to discuss his breakout Junior season and preview conference play. Then 2007 Inductee into the UVM Athletics Hall of Fame, Eric Perrin (34:31) sits down for an interview about his role this season as an Advisor to the Coaching Staff on the Men's Ice Hockey Team. Perrin details his responsibilities, and what it has been like to be back in Burlington and around the team for the last week.  

National Champion Head Coach of the Vermont Men's Soccer Team Rob Dow joins the show for the second time this year for a College Cup recap. From Maximilian Kissell's game winning goal to Ted Lasso comparisons Dow breaks it all down with host Brian McLaughlin. Then Athletic Director Jeff Schulman joins the program to share his perspective on Vermont's Title. His thoughts include reflecting on the overwhelming fan support and how this accomplishment can have an impact throughout the athletic department. 

Two star scorers join the show this week with Yaniv Bazini (7:16) kicking things off from the Men's Soccer Team. Prior to their trip to Cary, North Carolina for the College Cup, Bazini relives some of the seasons best moments, the most important parts of this tournament run and what it will be like returning to North Carolina where he started his career at NC State. Then Keira Hanson (36:21) sits down to talk about her progress to becoming a double-digit scorer so far for the Women's Basketball Team in her junior season. She tells host Brian McLaughlin about the differences between starting and performing as the teams 6th Player and she discusses some professional players she loves to watch highlights of on TikTok. 

Coming off an NCAA 3rd Round win over San Diego, Men's Soccer Associate Head Coach Brad Cole (2:34) joins the show to go in-depth on the Catamount postseason success, how he handles a deep squad and what the last week has been like before battling Pitt on Saturday. Then host Brian McLaughlin is joined by Hally Laney (23:36) from the Swimming and Diving team. Halley details the recent success both for the team and individually at the URI Invite, why she has a love-hate relationship with the 200 Fly and what the next few weeks look like for the swimmers. 

Catamount Men's Basketball Director of Operations Braeden Estes (1:54) joins the show first this week and details his background from student manager at UNH to his first year on staff with the UVM Men's Basketball team. Then junior defenseman on the Men's Hockey team Xavier Henry (20:12) updates the show on a recent win over Umass, how he has found his role during his college years and what to expect this weekend against Dartmouth. 

To recap the Men's Soccer America East Championship senior Center Back Max Murray (3:24) joins Catamount Insider for a breakdown of the tournament run. He reflects on his Catamount career and explains what makes him such a versatile player especially winning balls with his head. Then Athletic Trainer for the UVM Field Hockey team Sarah Davis (21:36) caps off the historic season for the field hockey team. In her first year with Coach Pfeifer's group Sarah tells stories about what made this team special both on and off the field, how she handled four games in six days to finish the season, and admits to a major learning curve with the sport of field hockey. 

America East Champion on the Vermont Field Hockey team Meredith Medvetz (2:25) opens the show with a full championship weekend breakdown. She fills host Brian McLaughin in on the characteristics that make this historic team so special and what has powered the growth of the teams defense over the season. Then Director of Basketball Operations with the Women's Basketball Team Alec Kerdell (24:15) lays out the logistics of their upcoming 6-game road trip that features games in Alaska and Cancun!
