In this episode I’m a fan of the art critic and researcher Dagmar Dirkx. We talk about the exhibition The 1970s they curated (it’s on view until the 18th of December at Argos), exchange thoughts about our teenage fascination with indie music and obsess about our favorite Drag Kings (and decide to become some).
As usual the episode including music is only available on live radio but if you still want to hear the songs we’re talking about, here they are:
Fever Ray - What They Call Us
Anne Clark - Wallies
U.R.A. Fever -The Kills
Peaches feat. Kim Gordon - Close Up
You can also find all the songs from recent episodes in this playlist on spotify
And this is the movie we're watching in the end:
Hito Steyerl, November
For this episode I’m a fan of Loriane Panel, graphic designer, programmer and also part of the really cool sci-fi fanzine collective Femixion. Loriane tells me about her two weird passions which is computer games and basketball and we end up with a fan fiction about a magical match of streetball.
We could only play music during the livestream, but here’s a list of the songs we talked about:
Love Is Wicked - Music Of The Sims 2
NBA Street V3 OST - Bounce (Ak'Sent)
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Sountrack (N64) - Jungle City
Aventura - Obsesion
I'm a fan of the artist and writer Dominique De Groen and in this episode we talk about Eminem posters above the bed, Britney Spears fan forums and dressing up as elves from Lord of the Rings.
We could only play music during the livestream, but here’s a list of the songs we talked about:
Twarres - Wêr Bisto
Christina Aguilera - Dirrty
The real slim shady (eminem DISS) Christina aguilera
Pulp - Mis-shapes
Hannah Diamond - Concrete Angel
Or a playlist with songs from this and all coming shows.
