Catchin' Up with Peach

Welcome to the first episode of Monthly Mondays: a casual, yet more in-depth, conversation to come alongside our weekly chats. Each episode will focus on one specific event, as these sports we follow weekly all culminate with a big event. We want to give you the opportunity to dig a little deeper and know more surrounding these championships, postseasons, playoffs, etc.

Who is the "we"? My brother, Stuart, who also serves as my editor and overall helper in this dream, will be jumping in on these monthly conversations that will happen, of course, on a Monday.

Getting things started with the world of Major League Baseball and the postseason/playoffs that lead to the World Series. Nothing better than October baseball! Enjoy!!

As the title suggests I am having way too much fun this time of year! Having said that, we may have pushed the time limit just a little bit. But that's because we've got plenty of headlines, college football and the NFL always keep us busy, and... oh yes, the baseball postseason is upon us! So much to cover, so little time! Hope you enjoy this and walk away learning something new. Thanks for being here!

Would love your feedback, suggestions, and ideas! Email me: [email protected]!

As promised, a special guest joins me this week: Dad!

He was in town and hopped in the studio for a more conversational-style approach to Catchin' Up! We deviate from that outline-format and go just a tad longer than our typical 15-30mins. Emphasis still rests on football, but we have a few wild cards thrown in there too. I hope you enjoy listening to the laughter, banter, and conversation as much as we enjoyed doing it!

Back for week four!! You've made it to a month of Catchin' Up w/ Peach. We are still spending the majority of our time covering football. College held some dominant victories and the professional world had some dramatic come-from-behind victories in weeks 3 and 2, respectively. We've got the usual headlines, games to review and preview, and names + numbers to know. Let's see what's in store this weekend!

Third time's the charm! We're back for Episode 3, still talking heavily about football. Both a recap and look ahead at week one for the NFL and week two for the college scene. But baseball gets a little more love this week. And we also highlight the WNBA finals and the US Open champs! Got a little rant/opinion bit in there this week and make sure you listen all the way through for a laugh at the end. Thanks for being here!

*Notes from Post Production: TX A&M paid App St. $1.25M and ND paid Marshall $1.5M. Those numbers were flipped on the recording.

Back for week two! After setting the foundation in episode one, we are trying to find a rhythm and outline to use going forward.

We'll start with some headlines and news to know. Next will be a recap and some highlights from last weekend. Followed by a look ahead at this upcoming weekend. You may hear an opinion or two in there. I'll throw a couple names and numbers to know at you. And lastly, I will give you a few definitions to help make the terminology less intimidating. Still a heavy emphasis on football as the NFL gets rolling this week. But we do have some tennis, baseball, and even golf for episode two!

The very first official episode of Catchin' Up w/Peach! The world of sports never sleeps, so we need to get caught up to speed on where we are in the grand scheme of things. College football is coming for us this weekend and the NFL starts next weekend. With that being said, there is for a heavy emphasis on football to make sure we've set the stage properly and can get to the details in the weeks to come. Thanks for being here! I hope you walk away ready for kick-off!
